Val and her entire design team at Valeria are incredible! I hired Valeria after I had already started a remodel and ran into a structural issue. Because she is an architect and designer, she was able to solve the problem with a solution that made the project even better. After that, I asked her to finish the entire project. We have been working together for over a year and I love how the house is turning out. Val and Andrea are a professional team with a sense of modern design. I love the software that they use to show you a 3D rendition of their design during the presentation phase. Over the years, I have used different designers on both residential and commercial projects but I feel a connection with the Valeria team that I have never felt. They understand my family, and design for me- not for them. I highly recommend this team for any design project.

Our family has been working with Valeria Design for approximately 2 year now .. on a range of projects. Val has designed the kitchen, the basement, the bathrooms, the front porch and the office. Designers Val and Andres are truly top notch, the level of detail is amazing. She understands how to incorporate elegance, and style while taking into account that we have a fully functioning family of 5 plus our wonderful puppy. The design and high quality selections allow us to think outside of the box and see potential in spaces we never though possible. She makes herself available for questions and is very responsive. Val was absolutely amazing! She was very professional and responsive. She and her team redesigned a guest bedroom and kid's bedroom in my house. Her ability to think outside the box is amazing and she was very thoughtful about what would be good for my 3 year old. I first contacted this company because the company's style met mine. Then after I talked with Val and felt the seriousness in her voice, sensitivity to your needs, knowledge, ability to articulate what's needed to get the job done in a realistic way, plus iron clad references to boot, I realized Valeria Design Studio was for me and what I needed. And I could not have been more right. Valeria Design Studio has proved themselves over and over. I find the company to be the best architect/designer you are going to find and I've been through a few design firms so I speak from experience. I find Val being an architect has been more helpful than I could have imagined as well for my project. She/the team has the right set of skills and it only makes your heart sing. It gives you peace in your decisions because when someone works as hard as they do and wants to make sure they give your their best, you can relax. You don't have to second guess. They work hard to get it right the first time and you can feel it. She's in it to win with you in a real and honest way. This is what makes Valeria Design Studio a cut above the rest. In a nutshell, She/the team personally adopts your project and vision and carries it out. I can't say enough about Valeria Design Studio.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Val. we built about 10,000 Sqft Home and What an amazing ways she to decorate every room in your home, at your own pace.. I love being able to see the design val put together, not only that she did convinced the builder to make Architectural changes with the builder to make this home more practical and luxurious, our builder was so much impressed with all the details the way she was providing by drawing and pics.... Having a visual prior to finalizing is a huge help! . I felt comfortable telling Val exactly what I liked, and didn’t like, and she was able to deliver it. . When my husband and I moved from our house to a large apartment, Val and Fernanda helped us organize our new space. Their artistic vision arranged our furniture in such a way that made our long living room/family room seem wider and more open. They were both professional and creative. We wanted to display our artifacts collected from living abroad for twenty years, in Africa and Indonesia. They listened to what was important to us and incorporated those ideas into the decor, with beautiful results. Now, every day, my husband and I enjoy and appreciate the sculpture, textiles, and pottery. Val and Fernanda were pleasant, punctual for appointments, and fun to work with.

After the purchase of a condo overlooking Baltimore's Inner Harbor I decided to go with Valeria Design Studio to help assist me with turning my new space into my lofty champagne dreams on my Natty Boh beer budget!!! Val stepped right up to the challenge and assured me that she would work hard to stretch every dollar and still create a stunning design that would fit my needs and boy did she deliver on her word! When ever I have guests over their jaws drop to the floor! The best part is we have not even finished. I have had to put the project on pause due to an unplanned family emergency which Val was more that willing to work with me on. I can't wait to start phase two where we will put the finishing touches on the place. I will be sure to come back with an update and submit photos. Until then, just know that when hiring Valeria Design Studios you will receive professional, hardworking service from a creative team of great communicators with a true passion and knowledge of design!

My husband and I found Val though the Houzz website a couple of years ago. We had just moved from our 1,000 sq foot apartment in DC to a 6,000 sq ft space in the burbs. We wanted Val's help to help us come up with a cohesive plan for the whole house even though we were not in a position to renovate the whole house at that point. Val listened to our ideas and understood our vision, to which she blended her raw talent and amazing people skills. While our house is not yet fully done, we love the transformations of the spaces that Val has helped us with and look forward to the whole house being finished soon. Val assisted us over two years during the construction and interior design of our home. Since Val is not only an interior designer but also an architect with a wonderful taste, she became my trusted advisor, my right hand person and a very good friend throughout the project. Val first understood our family's needs, our taste and what we try to achieve in our new home. She then helped us to make changes in the design of the house to better accommodate our needs. She designed five bathrooms, the kitchen and all built-ins in the house. She helped us pick all the lights throughout the house and designed several of our rooms. Although everyone says that constructing your house is overwhelming, thanks to Val's assistance, it was really enjoyable for us. Val is extremely dedicated and passionate about the quality of her work. The most wonderful quality about her is her ownership of the projects she works on. It was a great pleasure to work with Val and I recommend her wholeheartedly for any design project.

I used Valeria Design Studio for a complete design remodel in Baltimore in 2004 and then again in 2014. Each time the plans were delivered on time and a in budget. The completed house is still the nicest and most beautiful in the community. Many people ask to take their wedding photos in front of the house so that says something.

I hired Val Studio to help me pick tiles and paint for my powder room. Val gave me excellent advice about the tiles. She explained to me different options in terms of size, color and price.She also gave me some good guidance about the color for the walls. I am really happy with the way the powder room looks. Val understood clearly what style I was looking for. I would definitely recommend Val and her company. She is experienced and fun to work with!

After sitting with her to discuss our plans, it was clear she was listening to our desire for a modern, open design inspired by natural materials. She's a genius as mixing a few high quality, long lasting pieces with some simple decorative touches to pull the room together. The high level of professionalism and integrity only scratches at the surface of this exceptional company. I was very impressed with the design team's work ethic, creativity, and timeliness. Valeria Design Studio designed my entire home renovation. What an incredibly talented and wonderful team! They worked well with the contractor, helped solve issues, and generally gave good advice and guidance that served my best interest. I added 400 square feet to what is a vertical house in the middle of a city block by expanding into and eliminating my yard. The result is fabulous and I love my newly renovated house!
