Mary and I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Michael & Michael on two large projects that were very successful. The clients on both homes were beyond thrilled with the detail and professionalism that Unger & Mahns brought to the process. It was our experience that they were excellent partners to brainstorm with and were open to ideas and suggestions and brought wonderful resources to the projects.

I cannot even begin to tell you what fantastic Architects Mike and Mike are. They actually listened to my wife and I (Not so common) and were able to take our Ideas and materialize them on paper with very little changes. The house they designed for us had NO wasted space and is perfect for our lifestyle. Actually, I have a close friend who is an architect and we chose to bi-pass him to use Unger and Mahns under the recommendation of our Framer. in my opinion..... anyone who could afford a custom house would be foolish to not utilize this firm. My husband and I first hired Unger and Mahns in 2000 to build our 5500 Sq. ft. house in Rumson,NJ.The design was classic,sophisticated,tasteful and timeless."Michael and Michael" guided us through the design and construction and were available on site whenever the builder needed them.When we sold the house in 2008,the structural engineer that the buyers hired to inspect the house said it was one of the best built homes he had ever inspected. In 2006,we hired them again to do the plans for our summer home in Cape May, N.J. They designed our fabulous dutch colonial that looks like it is 100 years old.We are consistently told that is it one of the prettiest homes in town and not a day goes by where someone doesn't stop and comment on it.Our builder in CM said that the plans he received from U and M were the most detailed and complete set of plans he had ever worked with. They designed the new Rumson Country Club Pool House.It is a masterpiece! I am a real estate agent and my husband is as type "A" as they come.We are tough customers and pretty demanding.We recommend U and M 100% and feel they are worth their weight in gold.They are not the least expensive in the area but you get what you pay for.They are thorough,knowledgeable and very experienced.
