Tim and I have worked on two fantastic remodels together. I have to say they are two of my very favorites. Bouncing ideas off one another makes it much more fun! I would recommend him highly for any job!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Tim McMahon on two different projects. The first project was our cabin. A few years later, we built our home. Obviously, we were pleased with his attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work. We worked closely together from beginning to end, including the drawings, drafts and construction. Prior to construction we visited with several architects and other construction companies. Tim's knowledge, experience and craftsmanship won us over! We also didn't need the architect, saving us time and money. We worked together and now have two special places we call home! Tim McMahon Building Company comes highly recommended!

Tim built us the perfect house 10 years ago, on time and within budget. In 2015, when we wanted to add on to our house, we chose Tim again. No surprise, on time and within budget. OUr house is a bungalow style house, and he followed our architect's plans to the letter, giving us the look that we wanted.

We purchased a home built in 1985 which had never been updated and hadn't been lived in in several years. Tim looked over the challenges and brought the house back to life with a completely gutted and remodeled master bath and kitchen, refinished hardwood floors, and new wall finishes throughout. He vision of what can be is exceptional. Truly love our new home and working with Tim to make it happen.

I purchased a home designed and built by Tim McMahon in 2012. I could not be more pleased with the thoughtful, tasteful and efficient design of the home and the quality of construction. Tim designs and builds great houses! The two improvement opportunities in the project were 1) to have more structured house specifications and financial arrangements to enable easy customization and 2) promptness in follow-through with final outstanding items. However, Tim was great to work with and he helped me arrange customization of my home and followed through with every outstanding item. 2016 Update: I selected Tim to complete an addition to my original home and was once again very pleased with the result.

Tim has built two homes for us and we were very pleased with the entire process and finished product both times. He helped us design the floor plans, melding his own vision and practical solutions with our ideas and wishes. We had a projected time frame of 12 months for 6500 sq feet and he actually completed our home a month early. He does not waste time and has his professional team of subs working steadily. Tim supervises the project on a daily basis and is hands on solving any issues or questions from the home owner. He keeps a tidy work site and personally collects and hauls anything that can be recycled. We found him to be a pleasure to work with and had 100% confidence that he would build a solid and beautiful home.

We engaged Tim McMahon to design and build an addition to our home that included a family room (~400 sq ft) and outdoor deck area (~400 sq ft). Tim was largely given our vision of how we hoped to use these areas and instruction that we wanted the outdoor deck area to be a place we would want to spend time. The imagination that went into the design was Tim's. The result was gorgeous. The family room features a vaulted ceiling with windows to one side and double sliding glass doors opening onto the new deck area. The roof was extended perfectly to cover the new room and and the deck. Highlighting the deck area is an outdoor stone fireplace at the far corner of the deck area that extends to the roof line. He literally transformed our home into an outdoor lodge in the middle of suburbia. The finishing touch was to replace windows from our existing dining room with double sliding glass doors that also open onto the deck. This created a 180 degree angled panoramic view (and access) from our house onto the deck area, which has led me to light the fireplace on the deck for visual beauty that I can enjoy from my dining room or the new family room at any time of year. The design is elegant, creative, warm, and just what we had hoped for from this project. When weather permits, we can open both sets of double sliding glass doors to effectively integrate our deck, new room, and dining room into a single continuous area for entertainment or family enjoyment. He has allowed us to bring the outdoors into our home every season of the year.

Tim McMahon - was always very honest, knowledgeable, available, professional, & conducted his business with a high degree of integrity. Building a custom or spec. home will always have errors & the important thing to know is how does your builder respond to those errors. Our experience with Tim was very positive & the few "minor" errors that occurred were promptly corrected & he really stands by his work. We would definitely use him again & have no reservations recommending him to anyone wanting to build a custom home.

Tim designed and built our house from the ground up. It took him about 7 months to complete the build and we are very happy. He started with a design and realistic budget. He helped us stay on budget and paid attention to the details. He is very professional. We have had several other friends use him to build their house or do a remodel and he has maintained those relationships, which tells you that they are happy with the results.
