Ours was a difficult kitchen/bath job as the house was still under construction and in the Virgin Islands! Barbara was AMAZING at designing cabinetry and a layout that would be practical but also beautiful. Everything fit perfectly even though it was ordered before there were walls built! And when there was a problem (it was a minor one based on a mistake my architect had made) she rushed into action and ordered the piece to fix it and didn't even charge me (even though it was not her fault!!!) Now THAT is customer service. I also found her professional, talented, easy to work with, flexible, personable and kind. I would recommend her to anyone highly and without reservation!

Barbara knows her stuff!! She truly creates and designs your dream kitchen after listening intently to your needs and desires. She makes fantastic suggestions and is a perfectionist! I had many emergency questions during the process and she was there every step of the way. If you want your kitchen or bath done right, look no further! She is the best!

The Place For Kitchens and Baths was the one ray of light in my recent kitchen and bath renovations. Despite being highly organized and decisive, I spent months wandering from one tile store to another, one cabinet store to another, one countertop supplier to another until a co-worker recommended Barbara Geller at The Place For Kitchen and Baths. At our first meeting, she designed 4 or 5 layouts for the kitchen and baths, helped me select cabinets and suggested additional finish materials to suit my style and quality preferences. From planning and selection of materials to installation, Barbara stayed on top of every detail and delivered a stunning renovation. She’s simply the best.

As part of a larger complete remodel of a condo, we hired Barbara Geller to do a kitchen, four bathrooms, laundry room and mudroom. It was a crazy renovation overall, with a million issues, but the work that she did was fantastic. She was incredibly detailed oriented and never failed to chase issues brought about by the general contractor, to ensure we got a beautiful final product. She always communicates and follows up and we were so thankful that we used her. All the rooms are highly functional and look great.

Barbara had the vision and concept to totally redesign the kitchen layout within our available space. In 2019 we purchased a condo in Fort Lauderdale, and at the time resided in Connecticut. Being new to the area made it even more important to research and do our homework on selecting a designer and also a contractor. Since the condo would require extensive renovation, it was important to find someone reputable with strong credentials. We met with and interviewed several. We first spoke with Barbara on the phone, and lucky for us she was going to be in Broward later in the week, she offered to stop by to see the space and meet with us. From the moment she arrived she was able to envision the future space, she listened intently to what we were thinking about and offered suggestions. We were immediately drawn to Barbara by her ability to not only "see" what the place could be--but to also appreciate what was there already, preserving and enhancing it even further. (An added bonus was that she also recommended a GC who did a terrific job bringing our "vision" to life!) We had no idea, what was on the horizon with Covid in 2020. As a result, the renovation was delayed and when things finally did open up we were met with limited work hours, elevator use and stringent safety regulations--yet despite all of these constraints, Barbara and team plowed forward. Barbara would email design ideas, photos of material, FaceTiming us from different locations, etc., She also went over and beyond helping to select items out of scope for her project, such as shower floor tile, etc. She was great. Nevertheless, walls came down, hallway closets removed all making way for a wider more open space with a new cabinet installation. She also suggested we preserve the vanity that was in our primary bath left by the former owner, making it an heirloom piece. She selected a beautiful stone top that complimented the piece while bringing in the contemporary look and feel throughout the rest of the space. We learned much in this experience-- it isn't just about a beautiful design, it is ultimately, about trust and credibility--doing the right thing, made even more meaningful when you are working remotely. We needed her to be our "eyes" since we couldn't be. During the cabinet installation we discovered that what was designed and ordered was not what was sent. Barbara immediately contacted the supplier, and did everything in her power to make it "right." We worked through plant closures due to Covid, border strikes, product shortages, etc. She was diligent until the very last piece was delivered and installed exactly the way we envisioned it--in fact, even more beautiful than we imagined. It's one thing to find someone who does a beautiful rendering and design work, that in of itself is "huge" yes. However, to find someone who delivers way more and follows through to the end--representing you while ALSO making a dream become a reality--made The Place for Kitchens & Baths a "gift." Amazing...;-) ...and oh by the way, she's tough--and exactly what we needed!

Barbara has exquisite taste and is incredibly talented! She helped design our kitchen that is not only breathtaking, but highly functional. Her level of detail is superb and her connections to find the best accessories was top notch. Her passion and desire to please was demonstrated throughout our remodel, she was so involved with every step and was always available when we needed her. We remodeled a 350 sq ft kitchen in Boca Raton. Barbara and her staff were very knowledgable to work with. Once we explained what we wanted to do and Barbara had the talent and design eye to make it happen. The kitchen turned out beautiful and we love the space. It already won an award for kitchens under 350 sq ft. I would highly recommend Barbara and her talents for any kitchen project !

Just finished working with Barbara renovating my master bath. As always she designed a beautiful dressing room for me and Vanity area. She is prompt, takes care of every need. Now we need some photos. We love our mirrored medicine cabinet wall.

We remodeled our kitchen, all except the floor. Barbara is a design genius, assessing our needs and creating a beautiful new space with the restriction that the footprint had to remain the same. The new layout has everything I need and want, with a much better work flow. And it's beautiful! One project is done and the other is near completion and I am thrilled with the end results. They are exactly what I was looking for, with some modifications, based on Barbara’s creative and accurate input. Barbara is challenging, collaborative, talented and patient. A true professional, Ms. Geller makes the project fun and understands value, as well as, design. No detail was too small. Nothing went unnoticed. Projects were completed on schedule. I can (and have) called Barbara with any question and she was always responsive. I still need to complete the bathrooms in Florida and I hope Barbara, and her attentive team at The Place for Kitchens & Baths, will be ready for me. If they're not, I will wait!

Several years ago I did a 1931 home over in Palm Beach with five and half baths and a large kitchen. Barbara Geller came in and worked her magic!! When it came time to sell my home, the kitchen and baths are what did it! She was totally professional and was hands on during the installation and made sure that everything was perfect. From day one of the design process through deliveries, installation, placement of hardware to numerous other details she didn't miss a thing .Barbara's been hands on and so easily available every step of the way. We bought a home in 2011 and hired Barbara at The Place for Kitchens and Baths to design a new kitchen and master bath. Her design work is phenomenal, the cabinets were absolutely beautiful. We sold that home at a significant profit in February 2014. The realtor told us,and we agreed, the kitchen sold the house. We purchased a new home at the same time. Barbara did 3 bathrooms and an apartment kitchen for us. Again, I was thoroughly impressed. Our master bath is under construction now. I know it will be great!

We have had our kitchen for 8 years and it is oversized with 110 feet of base cabinets and 40 feet of upper cabinets. We could not be happier with our kitchen and are always receiving compliments on the quality of our kitchen. Barbara renovated my kitchen and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Barbara was highly recommended to me, and I would not hesitate asking her to renovate a bathroom or another kitchen. Barbara remodeled a condo I purchashed in Boca Raton, with a kitchen that is not only functional but beautiful! It was old, dark, boxed in, and Barbara opened it up making it a dream kitchen. It is bright, spacious, lots of counter space, as well as storage. Barbara also installed the cabinetry in two bathrooms I remodeled and her expertise in design is impeccable. I relayed what my needs and wants were and I am completely satisfied with the end result. I have an absolutely stunning kitchen, and two beautiful bathrooms thanks to Barbara.
