My wife and I are so happy and pleased that our builder/architect recommended Dennison and Dampier Interior Design. They were there from the beginning of the renovation project when we down size our house from 6,000 Sq to 3,000 Sq townhouse. They helped to design the lighting system with LED and figure out the layout and location of paintings and furniture. Color of the wall paints that was recommended was the best. Every one who come over to our house comments about the color of the paint. We never worked with interior Design who is available 24/7 and who are so responsible and has wonderful sense of elegance and simplicity. I hired Dennison and Dampier to help me redecorate an older home which was being renovated top to bottom. They worked with the contractor to choose all of the fittings from bathroom, to flooring to light fixtures to cabinets and then worked with me to incorporate the art and furnishings I had into a beautiful and gracious home. They also helped me to find beautiful pieces to supplement. Their taste in wall coverings, paint and draperies is exquisite. Many people who have visited my home have fallen in love with it and have asked for a referral. I would recommend Tara and Mary, the two principals in Dennison and Dampier, without questions.

Tara Dennison worked with me to create my home. In Merida, Mexico. She was there from the first architectural plans making corrections that have been wonderful. She detailed out everything from counter heights, to chandelier designs and designed all my wonderful closets and storage areas. The details of the electric planning she did make life wonderful in my home. Her knowledge of color, texture, size and function has created a beautiful living space all of my visitors want to duplicate. She just made my home a magnificent dwelling. She landscaped the outside with me. She worked tirelessly getting everything just right. All of my rooms are beautiful, functional and totally comfortable. Being with her and watching her work was really like knowing a master at work. If Tarai designed everyones home for them, we would all have a peaceful world because no one would want to lrave their home. This is a 2000sq. foot home built from the ground up. Two bedroom, two baths with a great room, a pantry a laundry room and a screened in porch. It is is Mexico on the Yucatan so we had to pay special attention to staying cool. Hence high ceilings and fans and window and door placement to encourage cross ventilation. The style is a modern take on traditional hacienda style. We chose Hacienda peach for the exterior and a lovelt white inside with an amazing subtle turquoise punch wall for excitement in the large kitchen living space. Tara needed to work with what furniture I had and her placement of it and her choice if fabric to recover pieces has transformed all of it. I had a 12 foot enclosed porch at first on the plans. She convinced me to add 4 feet and I am so glad she did. Pele would be too cramped around the table. Now we totally enjoy the space.. The gardens have lovely scented gardenia, white ginger, and jasmine off the porch mixed in with herbs and vegetables and glorious palms. She had large bamboo planted as a screen for my neighbor and I feel as if my yard goes on forever with no neighbors! This home has no steps or stairs as I am older now. Tara made sure all doorways were plenty big for equipment if I need it in years to come, she helped me find beautiful nonslip floors, the bathrooms are beautiful and very roomy. Even her choice of knobs for drawers and cabinets have brought interest and fantasy to the decorating. I find it hard to leave home to go to work! I am so grateful for her guidance and feel very fortunate to have benefitted from her talent, her intuitive sense of design and her years of experience and her respect for what I wanted to create.

I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen, living room/dining room area. Dennison and Dampier Design are extremely professional and respectful of my wants and needs. They listen intently to my ideas and incorporate them into the design. I highly recommend their expertise and incredible sense of style. I love everything they have suggested and put into place!

Dennison & Dampier are the BEST. Mary Dampier worked with me on remodeling my kitchen, reconfiguring a hall bathroom to become a master bath and updating my dining and living rooms. Her excellent taste, her sense of style, color, and her attention to detail all contributed to making my house a place I never want to leave! While taking my own taste and preferences into account, Mary guided me to choose the perfect colors, tile, furniture, rugs and fixtures. The result was classic yet unique. And Mary and Tara were such a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mary and Tara seamlessly understood my home from their collective first look. As my newly constructed duplex progressed, Mary and Tara were able to provide great insight to add character depth and interest to a very plain space. I particularly like the light of the main floor and master suite that improved from the original plans by moving and adding windows and beautiful fixtures. There ability to create spaces that feel big out of a smallish footprint was nothing short of phenomenal. My downsized home is so enjoyable due to these two designers, I would make them my go to design group if I ever had to do it again.

My architecture and construction team and I have collaborated with Tara Dennison and Mary Dampier of Dennison and Dampier over many projects and many years. We have several clients in common. Mary and Tara are particularly talented at understanding their clients' needs and hopes and then translating those needs and hopes into inspired and beautiful interior designs.
