Michael Hennessey

Steven is a brilliant designer who maximizes the potential of each space he engages with. On residential projects, he listens intently to clients' desires and guides them to a result that often exceeds their expectations. In addition, when it comes to furniture design, I would give Steven my highest recommendation.

Lost Art Salon

The first time we collaborated with Steven Miller was for a design he did at Dining-by-design in San Francisco. Seven had designed a beautiful contemporary table inspired by Le Roi Soleil Louis XIV. And behind the table, Lost Art had come up with a very sophisticated salon style grouping. Since then we have collaborated on several SF Decorator Showhouse projects and other projects for Steven's clients. We have always enjoyed the creativity of Steven Miller. Everything he touches, just like magic, turns into something fabulous!

I recently worked with Steven Miller Design Studio on a project in Atherton. He and his team are absolutely great. They are creative and really caring about design and the client. They are easy to work with and know so much about the products as well as how to use elements a space to make it really work. They have such great taste, their design is chic, clean, and contemporary. As an architect, I believe space is really important. Steven’s work compliments the architecture and the space with great balance and it never feels static or stuffy. I definitely recommend them.
