Sherrie herself was nice enough. We paid her $250 for a design consultation and design plan. I was very clear when we spoke on the phone prior to hiring her that I wanted help with color choices and finishes and furniture layout. She assured me that that was her strength. She came to our home and we discussed what we were looking for. She mentioned at that time that she had a furniture line and she seemed to talk us out of what we wanted in favor of her furniture line. At this time, I thought purchasing her furniture was an option. When we scheduled our next meeting a couple of weeks later, I informed her on the phone that we had selected furniture (from another source) and she said that I had done her job and I could tell she was upset or frustrated. It was at that time that she indicated that purchasing her furniture was expected otherwise "there was no money to be made". I feel like the expectation to purchase her furniture was never made clear and certainly didn't realize that it was dependent on continuing her services. Overall, I feel like she could have been more upfront about her expectations. I've never hired a designer before and probably won't in the future.

Our entire home really needed a refreshing face lift. Sherrie helped me decades ago to decide on living room drapes. I was so pleased with that assistance, I contacted her to guide me through the much larger project I now wished to undertake. This time Sherrie oversaw the redecorating throughout our home. She is a very knowledgeable, kind lady, so easy to work with and attentive to details. The interior of our home has been graced with new paint, paper and window coverings throughout. Just three new pieces of furniture have made a dramatic difference in comfort and appearance. Nothing was rushed. In fact, we just decided on new bedding in the master bedroom as the finishing touch. I could not be happier with Sherrie's work. She has a fine eye, not only for the greater project, but for all the details, as well.

She is very professional and knowledgeable about current styles and trends. She listens to what her clients want and responds accordingly. She has excellent color coordination. Sherri responds immediately to necessary corrections. She has a pleasant personality and always wears a smile.

My challenge was our family room design and Sherrie transformed a blank space into custom couches, chairs and the anchor for the rest of our home. My husband and I recently bought a home and wanted an interior designer draw up design plans and furnishing packages for three rooms in the home. In a short turn around time, Sherrie emailed me an initial presentation plan to review. It included floor plan designs, costs, fabric ideas, furniture suggestions, and a color scheme. Within weeks, she was back at the house with books, swatches of fabric and décor for the rooms. She gave me excellent options and good guidance when I had trouble making up my mind. There were some decisions I left to her to make, besides she was the professional and I was confident she would make the choices that reflected my style. Within three months the living room, dining room, and master bedroom were furnished with the WOW factor I wanted and knew I could not have achieved without Sherrie's professional ideas. The rooms reflect my personal style without sacrificing any functionality. Sherrie helped me transform the rooms into beautiful and relaxing spaces that feel "like us." Sherrie helped us map our our living and dining space with appropriately sized furniture and two dolor scheme to make the space more inviting. We now use the room much more.

Sherrie has a wonderful ability to blend your cherished oldies with new fresh styles and create a look that is pleasing to all. Recently added new patterned pillows and accent chairs to change the whole look.
