Established in 2009, Studio Quarters is a Sydney‐based boutique interior design firm, specialising in residential design. Our approach to each project is to create spaces that clients love to live in. We believe that each home should reflect the client’s tastes, character and lifestyle. That means designing homes that are timeless, not trend‐driven; quality, not disposable; comfortable, not contrived. Theresa Chan and Janice Chenchow are university qualified Interior Designers who worked for award-winning Architectural and Interior Design companies before establishing Studio Quarters. We love to create refined homes that make life easier, more comfortable and enjoyable for clients. We bring a great eye for detail, a meticulous method, and a friendly approach to all our client's homes.

The brief to Studio Quarters was to convert our junk room into a home office - one that has plenty of storage, well planned out and beautiful. We needed an area to work on the computer, a variety of storage solutions for files, printers, camera equipment and miscellaneous office items. We also asked for a window seat to do some quiet read. We feel that Studio Quarters did a fantastic job in designing a space that is efficient and beautiful. The space is organised and the colour scheme is calming. We love using our home office now and feel at ease that everything in the room has a "home". Thank you Studio Quarters - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family.

I decided to contact Studio Quarters as Janice had helped me previously when I was renovating my apartment. I wanted ideas on how to utilise a large mezzanine space in a warehouse apartment. Janice and Theresa were very enthusiastic and came up quickly with a few interesting designs for me to consider. They also sourced materials for their designs in order to give me a visual image of the completed project. I have found them to be very professional, well organised, pleasant and very approachable nothing too difficult for them. Best of all they have good ears. Highly recommend their services.

We have worked with Studio Quarters on renovation projects of both apartments and homes within Sydney’s North Shore. On these projects Studio Quarters was our point of contact throughout the renovation process. Their role was to take the stress out of renovating for their clients and to ensure that us as the builders delivered on the clients final look and feel while ensuring their budget expectations were also being meet. Prior to commencement of the project, Studio Quarters provided detailed professional plans, design specifications which included material selections and supplier contacts, these resources set out the scope of exactly what needs to be delivered. We found the team at Studio Quarters a pleasure to work with. They have a great eye for design and style, good communication and are extremely responsive to questions and decisions. We would have no hesitation in recommending Studio Quarters to any of our clients.

We have been very happy with Theresa’s and Janice’s thoughtful design of our study table. They were very professional, listened to our needs ,incorporated our ideas into the design , and followed the build to the end.....resulting in a beautiful but also practical and functional piece. We appointed Studio Quarters to redesign our living room and help us create a concept board for our kitchen and dining area. Both Theresa and Janice have been amazing and clever with their design. Each space has been thought out and designed according to our brief. Their design is so stylish yet so functional. We had such a fun and wonderful experience and have learnt a few things about interior decorating along the way! We love our newly renovated space! We can’t recommend Studio Quarters highly enough.
