What you see is not what you get. They have great, snazzy pictures on this site but beware of the actual experience. I hired them to design a remodel and decorate my entire home. My first designer quit the firm. I was then assigned a different designer. In my opinion she struggled with all aspects of coordination and design in my home. She never came to my house and tried to work off pictures and a floor plan. I wanted to use a lot of existing furnishings and I don't think they do well with that. She seemed rather negative about all aspects of the job. The have very limited resources when it comes to remodeling. I thought they would be able to refer a lot of different contractors but they only had one and he seemed like he was a handyman instead of a contractor. I was told they had no referrals for independent plumbers, electricians, etc. I was then required to find all these people myself and of course this takes longer to do on your own. When it came to decorating, many mistakes were made and items were ordered and paid for that ended up not looking right in the house. When this was brought to the attention of Martin, the residential director, nothing was done. After struggling during the whole decorating phase they basically quit and said all of my deposit was used up. My house was not finished and I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

I am disappointed to hear that you are unhappy with the services that were provided, given the length of time you have worked with our studio. You initially reached out to us in October of 2016 and over the course of the following years our designers have worked diligently with you on your home. As a cost savings effort you chose to self-manage your home remodel utilizing the specifications that you hired our designers to develop for you. As you found difficulty in securing and managing trade sources on your own, you reached back out to our studio for referrals, which we were unable to provide due to the trades not wanting to step into a project in progress, for liability purposes.

The pandemic has presented obstacles for everyone, though we were able to still provide you with design services and site visits from several of our designers for placement of accessories, plants and artwork, and select furnishings. Because of our lengthy relationship with you, and as a courtesy we provided many extra hours to help you through the process – providing you direction on items you chose to order on your own in which you encountered difficulties in determining sizes and color. While you may feel your home is incomplete, I’m certain the last few pieces of art and accessory items will be easily found. As I mentioned to you previously, you have an eye for the finishing touches and by utilizing any of the many stored collectibles you have at your home, they will certainly be the ideal finishing touches to complete your home.

I have worked with Gina, Martin and Alyssa on numerous projects. I love their decorating style, their professionalism and genuine kindness. They are easy to work with, practical and friendly. I would recommend them for any residential project, small or large, remodel or custom.

Martin Rodriguez and Cary Henry of Studio Dwell provided excellent design and decor ideas for our new home. They were professional and patient. They were excellent listeners and communicators. Our first appointment, we met the owner Martin. He introduced us to Cary, to be our designer. She listened to us and worked closely with us regarding our style and color ideas. Professional, friendly, and really became a close friend throughout the entire decorating of the home. The decorating process is complete but she remains available for advice and recommendations as we "tweek" things. We highly recommend her and Studio Dwell for complete design services.

CNC Labworks

We have worked together with Alyssa at Studio Dwell on a couple of projects so far. We built a long sofa/console table with interlocking octagonal bases, and a contemporary style sliding door with slats for a bathroom. Alyssa is professional, friendly, creative, and all around easy and fun to work with. Her clients seem to be very happy and develop long time relationships with her. Whether you are a homeowner or another professional, I definitely recommend working with Alyssa and Studio Dwell. We are looking forward to the next project together :)
