Scott at Stoneridge Builders did the most beautiful work on our bathroom renovation. He managed everything seamlessly, helped steer this first time remodeler towards the right materials for long term use, functionality and beauty. Stoneridge Builders Inc. gives a new meaning to "Custom Home." Scott Skiermanski and his wife Michelle own the company and have been in business for approximately 22 years. The process of building our home began over a year ago. Meetings with Scott totally demonstrated how well he worked with the archtiect in helping us plan our dream home. It was obvious that Scott had a history of making this happen for many other clients. As anticipated, there were delays and bumps along the way, however Scott, the president and contractor of Stoneridge Builders made the necessary adjustments and changes on a timely basis to prevent further delays in the building process. Scott also kept us in the loop as things were progressing or needed to be adjusted. He listened to our concerns and proposed changes that were possible to make within the limits of the building plans. It was obvious that Scott's sub contractors had worked with him for quite a while, they knew what needed to be done. They were reliable, efficient and did the job very well. We are now in our new home and follow up work and adjustments are made as needed. Scott stands behind his work and honors his commitment to provide a beautiful home as well as a structurally sound home. A shout out to Michelle, who coordinated many behind the scenes orders and answered questions regarding the projects. She always responded to my questions quickly. We are grateful for the amazing home that Scott and his crew have built. It is truly our "dream home." Scott is an honest and very reputable builder. I highly recommend Scott for large builds, small builds or any rehab work. You will certainly be very pleased with his work ethic and results.

From the time of the original bid, a complex permit navigation process, material selection, subcontractor scheduling/coordination, and the construction process, Scott and Michelle Skiermanski stayed actively engaged and openly communicated with us at every step of the way. My husband and I bought a fixer upper on Crystal Lake and chose Stoneridge Builders as our partner for the work and we have been absolutely delighted with the results! Throughout the project Scott was very responsive, kept his word and was completely transparent about the work that needed to be done and decisions we needed to make. Given it was a remodel of course we ran into the occasional surprise that required us to quickly huddle on what steps to take. On the rare occasion that happened Scott did a great job of explaining the situation, identifying what options we had and getting us back on track. This was the first building project I've been involved with that I truly enjoyed. Scott from Stoneridge worked with his preferred architect to quickly draw up plans for a custom apartment build inside of my wife and I's aircraft hangar. The subcontractors were the best I've ever experienced. The electrical and plumbing work was pure artistry, a shame to have to cover it all up with walls and floors. The most exceptional work was done by the framer who worked alone for the most part. His attention to every detail and "fixing" the not so straight hangar walls and not so level concrete floor made all the follow on work straight and plumb. The drywall and paint work were also first class. I was dubious of the contracted build time of 12 weeks, but Scott Skiermanski was true to his word. There was a two week over run due to the custom windows and very custom cabinet tops that was not a factor in the end. The end result is a very comfortable summer home for us that is truly breathtaking.

I highly recommend Stoneridge Builders. Their work and professionalism were hands down the best we have ever received. They were on time everyday. The Crew worked hard everyday. They cleaned up everyday. I could go on and on but the end product is what it’s all about. They knocked it out of the park! We love our 3 seasons room and fire pit! Thank you Scott and Crew!

Working with Scott & his team was a pleasure. Our former living room and dining room were transformed into a dramatic open space with vaulted ceilings and much larger windows. He had great ideas and his knowledge of construction & architecture was obvious. His bid was detailed & he took the time to explain the entire process. We are delighted with the final result. The ultimate cost was less than we originally had budgeted and very close to his original estimate. So if you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable & honest contractor, Scott is your man.

Scott and Stoneridge Builders did an excellent job on our house renovations. From our initial concept to final execution the process was seamless and well managed. We were very happy with the end result. There was a continued open line of communication and Scott always made himself available to answer any questions or concerns.

My family would like to enthusiastically recommend Stoneridge Builders. My husband and I excitedly purchased our beautiful 64 year Cape Cod house only to learn that the addition on the back of our house was uninsulated, lacked proper HVAC, was unlevel, and was in desperate need of some esthetic updates (and that was before we got into the walls). We wanted a contractor who saw themselves as a true partner. As first time home owners, navigating our first major renovation, we needed a trustworthy and patient contractor who could help us maximize our budget, navigate what desired projects to prioritize and how to gain the greatest return on our investment. We did our homework. After extensive research we narrowed our search to 5 potential contractors for in-person meetings. Scott Skiermanski was responsive, timely, honest, transparent and insightful. During demo, we found other problems (faulty construction, water damage, code violations) some of which required navigating our first insurance claim. Stoneridge was there through it all. Apart from my beautiful home, I think that what elevated my experience working with Stoneridge was the time Scott and his team spend educating us on every element of their work. We’re better homeowners for having worked with Stoneridge. Personally, my family considers Scott a true friend. In the 10 months span of our project, everyone that worked on behalf of Stoneridge was professional, courteous and friendly. They took the time to answer all of our 2 year old’s questions and were even good humored when our 85 pound dog would sometimes get into their lunch boxes. More than that, I needed to delay elements of the project due to my father’s passing in addition to also requesting other elements be expediated as I prepared for the birth of my son – both instances were met with compassion with every effort made to make sure my family was accommodated and supported. We will only be working with Stoneridge moving forward!
