The Flooring Source

The Flooring Source did an exceptional job installing hardwood and carpeting in my home and I am so thankful that I found these guys. I had just about given up and was totally dismayed by the installers I’d gotten quotes from when I stumbled into the Flooring Source’s store and breathed a sigh of relief that I finally found a reputable and experienced flooring company with fair pricing that made me feel confident my new floors would be installed correctly. Ellen, the office manager, is extremely nice, patient, and knowledgeable. She was very helpful in regard to samples and was always right there with any questions I had. Pete, the guy who measures, was on time, professional, and polite. Steve, the owner of The Flooring Source, is one of the most genuinely nice guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and he really takes pride in his company which showed throughout the entire process of having my new flooring installed. The pre-install phase (looking at samples, getting the quote, etc.) was 100% stress-free. No particular product was ever pushed on me, there was zero sales pressure, pricing was upfront and honest, and every question I had was answered. My townhouse is about 30 years old and my subfloors were not perfect. A neighbor’s bad wood install (done by someone else) had me worried too. But I am beyond thrilled with the job they did. The hardwood crew did my first staircase, entrance landing, and living room in beautiful white oak. Unlike several installers that wanted to go tight again the baseboard or put shoe molding, these guys took the time to do it right. They also did a luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVP) in a bathroom which came out wonderful. For my second staircase, upstairs hallway, and two bedrooms, I chose a patterned carpet and knew that it would only look amazing if someone really took their time and cared about the job. Steve, the owner, told me his carpet crew was meticulous and he was right; David and his nephew Fernando did an amazing job! Both crews were on time, worked steadily, were very polite, kept dust to a minimum, always cleaned up before they left, and it was very clear they are craftsmen who know what they’re doing and care about doing it right. Steve kept in touch throughout the process, called me directly when there were small hiccups (for example, stair treads took a bit longer to come in than expected), responded immediately when I had any concerns, and came to check on the job several times which meant a lot to me. I have a few other rooms that I’d like to have done in the future and will, without doubt, have the Flooring Source install them. I look forward to dropping by the store when I’m in Middleton just to say hello to this great group of people.

I used The Flooring Source in Middleton. Upon walking into the store I immediately connected with the receptionist who was patient and personable. Once I booked the appointment the owner showed up and was also very personable and professional. Thw work was done within a week or so since I purchased in stock materials. The crew that arrived was professional and cleaned up after themselves. We had three rooms done the same day. Approximately 9am-4pm. The floors have been down for seven months now and we are very happy with the product. I would definitely recommend The Flooring Source and would use them again. The Flooring Source recently installed floating hardwood floors throughout our slab ranch. Steve was great helping us to select the right floor for our needs. He was very patient with my indecision and graciously offered to get additional samples, etc. The flooring was part of a major renovation so we had a tight schedule to get the floors installed. Steve and his team went above and beyond to expedite delivery and installation. The install team worked wonders with our extremely uneven surfaces. Steve checked in throughout the project to be sure everything was going well and that we were happy with the job. About a week after completion (and the week before Thanksgiving!), our new dishwasher malfunctioned and flooded the kitchen/dining room. Steve managed to get more stock and within two days, his team had done the impossible and replaced it all!! We won't hesitate to use the Flooring Source in the future.

We had Steve come to our home and explain what could be done with the old awful floor .We decided on flooring that looked like reclaimed wood. The installation was perfect ,they were there on time and finished in no time kitchen. dining, and living room. Love the floor. Easy to clean. The installation went smooth because of their knowledge .Quality of work was good. Would use Steves flooring source again.

I met Steve when my husband and I decided to replace the floor in our basement walk out. He is very knowledgeable and sincere and wonderful to do business with. His products and services are great quality and I highly recommend The Flooring Source.

It has been a pleasure to work with the flooring source on several projects over the years. They have done all the wall to wall in my house as well as a custom made runner (very oddly shaped) for my hallway and stairs. Not to be out done they recently completed a 40,000sqft installation of commercial carpet tile, vinyl plank, and ceramic tile for a recent office renovation. Every time they have been amazing to work with from selecting product, to their installers who are fast and clean, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best in residential and commercial flooring sales and installation.
