Our experience with Southern Oaks Flooring proved excellent! Our calls were answered promptly, the flooring was installed in a very timely manner, the workers proved reliable and friendly plus the quality workmanship could not have been better. The new bedroom flooring needed to be matched with 8 year-old wood flooring in existence; we could not have asked for a better match. Jared is a top notch professsional.

Old World Craftsmanship and Simply Outstanding! Southern Oaks Flooring newly installed and refinished existing hardwood in our home with the ZERO VOC Rubio Monocoat Stains and Finishing Oil. The floors are absolutely stunning, and we highly recommend Jared and his entire team. My husband and I were impressed that each team member working in our home was passionate and engaged in their trade. They took pride in what they do, and it definitely showed. In one very large game room where old carpet was removed, the team laid a walnut parquet inside an oak basketweave within an existing outer hardwood border. It’s absolutely incredible. I think about 1500 pieces of wood were cut on-site and installed by hand to create this wood masterpiece. It’s quite impressive to see this type of craftsmanship in today’s world. The entire project was large covering several thousand square feet, and our old existing hardwood had crowned over the years. After Jared and his team finished, our floors are beautiful and flat (no more crowning). Our existing and new hardwood blend seamlessly together, and we are thrilled. Also, the team was on time every morning, there was no surprise pricing, they started and finished on time. Just overall outstanding - and we plan to use Southern Oaks again to replace flooring in our basement next year. Highly recommmend!!!

We love our new floors! We met with numerous companies before selecting Southern Oaks Flooring to install our wood floors. We researched the company and looked at pictures of their past projects. When we met with Jared, we were impressed with the company's credentials and he immediately made us feel confident that they would get the job done right. And they did...right on time! We are in love with our new floors! Jared has been very responsive to every call I've placed, even when the issue was minute. I've already referred this company to multiple people and will definitely use them again should I have another flooring project in the future.

After an unfortunate dishwasher leak we found ourselves needing to have the hardwood floors refinished in our home. I contacted Jared for an estimate and when he came to the house it was evident in conversation with him that he knows his craft and takes pride in his work. He took the time to discuss several different finishing options with me to figure out what would work the best in our home to get us the look we wanted. He was on site himself every day with his other crew members. They showed up and boy did they get the job done! We are absolutely blown away with how beautiful the floors are and how much they added to the appearance of our home! Now I can't wait to get him back out to refinish the upstairs! We recommend this company without a doubt.

Jared and his crew did a great job on the flooring in our house. They removed old carpet on our second floor, and laid and finished solid hardwood to match the existing hardwood throughout the rest of the house. They started and finished right on time, and the finished product is even better than we expected. The whole team was great to work with, and it's clear they put a lot of pride into their work. We won't hesitate to hire them again in the future if we need hardwood flooring.

Jarred completed a week long project on our Nolensville home earlier today. He installed 1300sq ft of engineered hard word along with a case of oak stairs. I'll be honest, I have OCD, am a fanatic when it comes to attention to detail and get a lot of anxiety having contractors come in my house. I've used dozens over the years and typically they come in (not even the owner/craftsman but a sub contracted team), do a quasi-good job at best and leave the place a mess. I was nervous before I hired Jared just as I am with any household project. Without exaggerating I am more pleased with Jared's work than I have been any other I've ever had done! Couple highlights: - Jared himself showed up every day to do the work himself and with a partner -- not some stranger you've never seen before who has no idea what they are doing. - His quality of work is outstanding. I love woodworking so I pay attention to the little things; corners, angles, etc. He did an incredible job. - He cleans up after himself. That may sound simple but most contractors don't. I'm not just talking about removing boxes or major debris. He cleaned up the small pieces or trash and scrap and even swept after himself every day. To a clean freak that is pure gold. Last thing: I spoke with 10-12 local installers before locking down a date with Jared. I'd be willing to pay top dollar for service like his but incredibly his price was just as if not better than most. Anyway, every time I've read reviews like the one I just wrote on somebodies website I figured they created some fake account and wrote the review themselves -- sorry, I'm a skeptic. In that vein I told Jared I would be happy to give him a reference should he ever wish so if you want he is welcome to give you my number so I can vouch for his work. - Chris C., very happy customer

I had Southern Oaks flooring install hardwood floors in my bedrooms, and tile in my bathrooms. Jared and his crew were punctual when they arrived, and finished each job in a timely and professional manner. They were respectful of my pets while they were there and the floors look great! I referred them to a patient of mine with complete confidence that they would do a great job. She was thrilled with the floors they installed for her.

Jared and his team were excellent throughout the project. We had about 1100 square feet of engineered oak that we wanted to have refinished. A number of flooring companies said they would not be able to do the work as engineered floors are tough to work with but Jared was confident and the finished product looks awesome. They gave us options throughout the project including finishes for the floor and gave helpful suggestions and information to help us make the best decision.
