Michael Sorenson is a professional. Dealing with Michael for our dream home has been a pleasure, his science and art balance with the full design of our home was on point. His directness of opinion and eye for detail with a flair for aesthetics has turned our house design into a project that has it's own persona. I have recommended Michael many times to friends and have no hesitation in recommending him to the world at large.

When it came to selecting an architect for our down-sized home, we chose Michael Sorensen as our architect having worked with him some years ago on another project. We knew that Michael would understand our very specific requirements for our new home on our small block with difficult access. We wanted a contemporary home that would be sympathetic to the area. Michael was sensitive to our needs and took a thorough brief over several meetings. He is a great communicator and creative collaborator and has extensive knowledge of sustainable architecture, materials and finishes. Michael takes a deep and personal pride in his work and we consider our home to be his too. Our new home is extraordinary.

Lynn & Brian Daniel

It was a pleasure to work with Michael. He is an excellent listener, a clear communicator and very approachable. His first sketch/design met our first brief. He designed a house that we totally loved, it was interesting and exciting and a lot more than what we expected. The building site he chose on the property mean't that we could have a sustainable house that also captured the views. He has extensive knowledge of a wide range of interesting materials and products as well as samples to show. His relationships with tradesman, professionals (eg engineers, surveyors, planners etc ) and industry bodies ensured a smooth process without major delays or setbacks.
