I hired Solkor to re-landscape a tired front and back yard for my 30 year old home that I purchased 4 years ago. They started the work in the dead of winter and successfully installed the majority of the hard landscape features during the winter months, and then returned in the early spring to finish the job. Having Solkor on site doing the landscape work went exceptionally well. They were very courteous and clear in communication with both myself and also ensuring that neighbors who were impacted by their work were kept up to date and assured that any temporary disruptions would be cleaned up. They kept the site neat and cleaned up throughly went they were finished. They also provided a high level of communication and updating throughout the progress of the project with emailed update including pictures explaining what they were doing which was really helpful, as well as timely phone calls if there were any questions or concerns to be addressed. I am so pleased with the end result of the project, the whole area is transformed and refreshed and is a pleasure to work and relax in. Solkor created a set of stone patio stairs and patio deck for our Canmore Condo. All contact was responded to quickly and thoroughly. The Solkor team did both indoor and outdoor renovations for us. First they renovated a bedroom, removing an existing Murphy Bed and accompanying built-ins. The job they did was impeccable. I wasn't able to be on site so we relied on emails mostly to choose all the finishings and other materials. Solkor did an amazing job on the construction and finishing. The room looks amazing, was done on time and on budget. But that wasn't the biggest job! Solkor then built us an outdoor fire pit and filled in an old (and leaking) pond feature. This job was complicated due to the lay of the land at our place. They had to get a Bobcat down a very steep hill and quite frankly I was amazed they could do so. The amount of rundle stone we put in puts a small mountain to shame and everything looks as if it were naturally there to begin with. Each piece of stone was handpicked by the Solkor team and the results are amazing. Everything looks beautiful, including the gorgeous lighting they added to highlight some of the existing architectural features at the front of the property. The Solkor team provided daily updates via email as well as photos. This was a huge relief given I wasn't able to get on site throughout any of the build. Seeing the daily photos put my mind at ease and ensured that we were all on the same page at all times. Not only would I recommend these guys for both interior and exterior work, but I would go so far as to say that if you're doing landscaping work in Canmore, you shouldn't call any one else! Solkor is simply the best!

I contracted Solkor for a major project which I am managing In Canmore Alberta, When hiring companies for this size of project there is always due diligence needed to ensure we don't get left in the dark, The management team assured us that they do not bite off more than they can chew. They have not disappointed. All phases of this project were handled with the highest level of professionalism.

Our second home in Canmore is a special place where we plan to retire in the near future. We love it and with our grown up family close by it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy. In December when the plumber (Avalanche Plumbing) entered to do some maintenance work he was confronted by water - that had come from the bathroom above the garage. A recommendation from Avalanche and with their assistance SOLKOR were contacted to assist - taking the lead on cutting out the garage roof and bathroom wall and removing the wet insulation and drying the place out. A week later we were there only to find out further flooding was in progress. SOLKOR responded immediately again and ensured the wet insulation was bagged and removed and the place dried out completely - sending us photos and frequently keeping in touch during the whole project. In addition they worked with the plumber to understand the source of the problem . Our insurance adjuster accepted their quote for repairs without hesitation and we were delighted with the work done - especially to have the garage roof sealed so we could have the family safely in the house over Christmas. Choosing carpet on line to match the other rooms was difficult as colours do not necessarily match. SOLKOR took the time to check our selection in person and notified us of a more appropriate shade. Once the carpet was laid they returned the furniture to the bedroom and put the bed together again. From our experience SOLKOR is a customer responsive business with a high standard of professionalism and service. The technical work undertaken was extremely well done and we were very satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them in the future.
