So here's the thing. I see things that I like but I have no idea how to pull them together so my "decor" tends to be a bit of a mish-mash. So when my husband and I were lucky enough to have our dream house built, I knew I needed help. Sandra Ling was recommended to me by a friend . I wanted the house to be comfortable but look like it was cohesively decorated. If I had done it on my own, I probably would have had several very nice areas but nothing would have looked polished. Enter Sandra Ling from Instinctive Interiors, LLC. Sandra worked with me and our builder from design right through move in. I can not recommend her enough. She guided without forcing, she listened very attentively and her ability to interpret my random thoughts and ideas into a unique, beautiful, cohesive design always amazed me. I worked with Sandra on the build from about October of 2010 until we moved in in September of 2011. She helped me with countless lighting choices, even spending a very cold February day with the builder to be sure all the electrical outlets/light switch locations would be correctly placed. I would have been clueless on things like this. Sandra was very conscious of our budget and managed to find ways to get that one piece that fit the budget but really made a unique statement. Tile, back splashes, faucets, flooring, wall colors, all of the thousand and one decisions that had to be made, she was right there with me, calm and professional, giving me choices but also guidance. The result - a home that is beyond anything I could have hoped for. The spaces look beautiful and work so well with our family and lifestyle. I can't tell you the compliments we've received. One of my good friends is a space planner and Sandra worked effortlessly with her ideas as well. Fast forward 3-1/2 years to April 2015 and I'm working again with Sandra to finish our family room. We brought our furniture over from the old house but it never really fit the new space. Now we're ready to replace that furniture and there is no one else I would consider working with. We've already made many of the choices and I am sure that once again, I'll be the beneficiary of Sandra's design expertise. It's very tempting to take the credit when people visit us and complement our decor - but I promise I do the right thing and make sure I let people know how lucky I was to have worked with Sandra and Instinctive Interiors!

I hired Sandra Ling of Instinctive Interiors to help me redecorate my living room. My finished product is a beautifully re-imagined, highly functional space. Sandra really listened to how we use the space and the frustrations we had with the current look and configuration, and she then used her expertise to create a more useful space plan using beautiful fabrics, colors and textures. Our first project with Instinctive Interiors included furniture, lamps, draperies, area rug, paint, and decorative objects. Sandra always offered a variety of choices including various price points. Sandra is great with the big picture look of a space, but she is also amazing with the small details that make a room feel complete; her design and placement of objects in my bookcases is unique and beautiful. Sandra also appreciated the importance of keeping pieces we already had and wanted to continue to use, whether it was furniture or decorative objects. She does a wonderful job incorporating the old with new finds. Since our first project together, I have hired Sandra for many other spaces in our home, and with each completed project I am always thrilled: with the process of working with her, with the selections she offers, with her expert guidance and with the finished product. She is a true professional. . . but also a lot of fun to work with.

We have worked alongside Sandra Z and Instinctive Interiors on many design projects and have always found it to be a very enjoyable experience for us as the cabinet designers but more importantly for each individual client. Sandra has a great style and a keen eye and instinctively marries her clients wish list with their functional needs and does so in a very elegant and timeless way. Loved working with Sandra. She is very professional and has an eye for style. I was impressed with her ability to design around my style and not try and change me. The master bathroom is very sophisticated and upscale. Love the wall of zigzag colored tiles which is the focal point of the Euro style shower. The tile coordinates with the floor and wall tile of light grey. The heated floor was a bonus. Cabinet color and lighting are gorgeous. I would not hesitate to work with Sandra again. She's punctual and has good follow up. Everything she has picked out has been spot on. This is my third project with her, and we are already working on the next!
