Hello, I am Peter Prados husband, father of three, and Landscape professional. In 1995 I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture from LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I started my career in the golf industry doing the initial grow-ins of the Bridges course in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and the Gregg Norman course at PGA West in La Quinta, California. Although I enjoyed and learned a lot from the golf industry, being away from New Orleans was just too much. In 2003 I moved my family back home to New Orleans and became the head of grounds for the University of New Orleans. While my career has spanned 25 years, I have been doing residential and commercial landscaping for the past ten years. I specialize in serving the Greater New Orleans Area and would love to get a chance to work with you. I am proud to collaborate with many other talented professionals to ensure the best possible team for your specific project. I loved working with Peter. He responds to you right away. If he says he will show up he does and if there is a reason like weather that he can't show up he lets you know. I started a project over a year ago then decided to get a pool which of course changed everything Peter had drawn up. He waited the whole year for my pool to be done then as soon as I was ready he started working on the new designs for my yard. He re worked the whole side of my house and pool and made it look beautiful. He added major drainage all around my yard that is working well. Lots of new additional items were added on by me during the process and he did everything I requested. He did everything he could to make me happy and genuinely seemed to care that I was happy with the job. I already have him lined up for my front yard in the spring and I will call him for any landscaping needs that I may need.

We needed landscaping in our front and side yard after having our house painted, which destroyed the little grass and few plants we had to begin with. Peter sodded and planted our side yard and laid down flagstones in our front and back yards where we had difficulty growing grass (we have oak trees), and we were very pleased with the result. He was efficient, easy to work with, and we found the price to be reasonable. We recommend Prados Landscapes.
