We have worked with Pat on serveral projects in the past and are always more than happy to pass on her details to clients looking for assistance with interior design.

Our request of Pat was to create a holiday cottage home for us where all the cares of the day melted away. After listening to our needs and with much laughter along the way the result is a stunning restful beautiful home where the furniture, fabrics, colours and spaces all complement each other perfectly. It’s such a joy to stay there. Pat’s enthusiasm, creative ideas, and trades and product knowledge are all so impressive. Thanks to Pat’s project management skills, drive and customer focus the builders and tradesmen also involved in the project all met their deadlines. We have now asked Pat to lead the refurbishment of our Edinburgh home and can’t wait to start the process again with Pat.

Firstly, we asked Pat to give us some ideas for our lounge in Glasgow that needed a little bit of a makeover. I gave her an idea of what we wanted and some likes, dislikes, colours etc. She measured up then asked us to visit her studio where she had pulled together lots of different fabrics from her vast amount of books. She suggested wallpaper, curtains, pelmet, reupholstering remaining couch and footstools, rug, lamp shades and cushions. She also suggested our wooden floor get sanded. Everything she suggested we loved and as a result we have a beautiful room that looks absolutely amazing. Pat is enthusiastic and full of great ideas. Nothing is a bother. She also works to your budget and any deadlines. Secondly, once this room was finished I asked her to update our holiday home in Fife. Again a fabulous job, she got our brief, taking into account budget and timescale which again she delivered to a very high standard. I would like to think Pat is now a friend and I would absolutely recommend her for any project you are thinking about as she has lots of contacts and is very highly thought of in the industry. Pat and I have similar taste, so majority of her ideas I liked. I used to spend lots of time and energy looking on line and going to shops spending money on things that didn't work once you got them home. I’ve used Pat’s superb service a number of times. Her ability to guide and deliver the clients ideas converting them into a stunning home is fantastic. This is the second time that we have engaged Pat and her team and yet again found them to be fantastic across aspects of the project. Our latest project involved a comprehensive refurbishment and refreshing of the entire house and requiring, floor and wall coverings, curtains and fabrics as well as the co-ordination of numerous tradesmen. They take time to understand how you intend to use your home and the individual rooms and tailor their design and styling accordingly. Whilst you remain very much part of the project, they take the task of project management off your shoulders. Importantly, they remain mindful of your budget and will track this with you. The end result was superb and has been admired by all who visit the house.

As soon as we received the keys of our new home in Auchterarder we asked Pat to help us. We immediately embarked on a major project to decorate the entire house in the keeping with the Arts and Crafts style and we loved working with Pat throughout the full project. Nothing was too much trouble, from the early stages of helping us identify the look we wanted for each room, through to the picking and sourcing of wallpapers, fabrics, and furniture that worked together. It was fantastic having a design expert who could help co-ordinate the entire project and who had a recommended list of specialist contacts to ensure the project ran smoothly. We are very much looking forward to working with Pat on our barn development in Glasgow early next year.

We have commissioned Pat Renson to do two homes for us. The latest one was a big job as it was to create a home for our retirement. She has made a wonderful job of keeping both of us happy, not an easy task ! Her vast knowledge on materials, firniture and fabric proved was a great help. We built a large house on the outskirts of St Andrews which I was determined there would be no sign of Magnolia anywhere!! We also sold ALL of our furniture as part of the sale of our last place which left me very overwhelmed faced with such a huge task. A friend of ours recommended giving Pat Renson a call which turned out to be the best advise we had ever received and to this day we are grateful. Pat understood me even when I wasn't sure even I did, her paint schedule (to stay clear of magnolia) was perfect, we often get asked about the colours, and I would never have had the confidence to make those choices. The same goes for the pieces of furniture which Pat sourced for us, it would have taken me quite some time and probably a lot of stress to be able to pull it all together the way she did. She also dressed all of our windows with the most amazing curtains which visitors always remark on, again I wouldn't know where to begin and would never have been able to get the look the Pat was able to achieve. Pat, and her team, were amazing start to finish and I couldn't recommend highly enough whether its one room or the entire house! We live in a beautiful house and I feel its very much down to Pat.

This was the first occasion that my wife and I had worked with Pat and her team. The brief covered the sitting room, home office and dining room of our weekend home. From the very beginning we found it really easy to work with Pat and her team. Always proactive, Pat took time to listen to our preferences, and importantly for us, understand our lifestyle before creating any solutions. Nothing was ever too much trouble whether it was finding just the right light fitting, coordinating tradesmen or providing that one last detail or accessory, it was so easy to hand over a key and let Pat and her team get on with it. We are absolutely delighted with the end result, so much so we are about to start work on the bedrooms.
