We design, build, renovate, buy and sell modern Homes in Fort Collins CO. We are a small boutique firm as husband and wife dynamic duo. We work with couple relocating from out of town through our other company Modern Real Estate Fort Collins. We come along side our clients and first help them LOCATE just the right lot to build or renovation project....... From there the designing of the perfect dream home begins! Start to Finish! Rucker’s fingerprints are found on every inch of a project. With strengths coming from his background in the corporate business world, residential real estate sales and construction, his natural vision for design is a force to be reckoned with. He desires to enhance life through your interaction of the space. With his passion for life and love of sharing this joy with others. He takes in the beauty of the surroundings giving a deep emotional connection whether working on his own design build or consulting on others. Rucker is onsite working and tweaking his design throughout the project as at times what goes down on paper does not transfer into reality quite as well. In the endless pursuit of improving design, building greener, and exploring the bounds of materials he is also the lead carpenter.....all of his interactions with projects are part of a process that he cannot understand unless his touch is the same, thus the hands on approach from design through construction.

We had the pleasure of working closely with Rucker Design Build (“RDB”) for a major house renovation in Fort Collins in 2017. With our input, RDB handled all aspects of design, permitting, demolition, remodeling, and staging for our project, which included gutting our kitchen and building an entirely new one, designing a nursery, installing hardwood flooring throughout, painting the interior of the house, and adding new electrical fixtures to update the house to a modern look. RDB’s team is extremely professional and are meticulous about leaving the worksite clean each day. RDB also went above and beyond the call of duty by designing and constructing numerous custom elements such as hand-cut butcher block kitchen shelves, under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, a handmade wooden breakfast nook bench, and a handcrafted changing table in our nursery. RDB worked with us to fulfill our dream of a modern mountain farmhouse and was able to do some on an expedited timeline with our baby on the way and a firm financial budget. We highly recommend RDB for major home renovation projects, and we already have plans to hire the team for more remodeling needs in the future!

My husband and I recently purchased a house in Fort Collins, CO remodeled by Rucker Design Build. We had looked at many houses prior, and this one stood out. Not just stood out, there was really no comparison. Rucker has an exceptional ability to not only maximize use of available space but to make that space unique. Being environmentally conscious, we also appreciate his use of recycled materials throughout the home and native plants in landscaping. Although we did not work with Rucker during the remodel, he and his wife Rebecca have been extremely helpful following our purchase of the home by answering any questions that we have had. We really cannot say enough positive things about them or this house. We fall more in love with it each day. If you are looking to remodel or build a new home in this area, there is really no better choice. We give them the highest of recommendations.

I would recommend Rucker Design Build in a heartbeat for small-scale renovations to large-scale gutting and re-design projects. They are consummate professionals and have one of the best, most keen eyes in the business for a modern, contemporary look to your house. We bought our first house from them after they completed a total renovation of a drab 1950's ranch into a stunning modern, sun-drenched jewel of a house.

The hard part about writing a review about Rucker Design Build is it's difficult to make it sound realistic - my family and I was thrilled with everything they did. Rucker completed a whole-house remodel of our mid-century home. It was completed on time and under budget. Their team's communication skills, attitude, and ability was outstanding. The magical part of working with Rucker is that it's rare to find someone w/their creative ability that can also complete things on time and budget. If you get the pleasure of working with Rucker, try to give their as much of a blank slate as possible and let them put things together. There are many things in the house their team envisioned that I would have never thought of and it came together wonderfully. I 100% recommend Rucker Design Build. I was introduced to Rucker Hill through my Arch. Professor at UTA. My experience of working with Rucker over a few months on this project was extremely positive and rewarding. Rucker is extremely passionate about his work and design. He has an exceptional ability to transform his vision into creative design. The first time we met at the Meadowcliff house Rucker smiled and told me, “There is jewel hidden at the heart of this house, we will bring it out through creative design”. He surely has done that. Great Job!!

In February of 2012 my wife and I stumbled upon a 1972 Mark Scheckter designed home in East Dallas. It was there that we met Rucker and Rebecca Hill. The first thing that stood out about this duo; their relentless attention to detail...not to mention the fact neither of them agree on the fact that Rebecca is actually in charge. The home we purchased from the Hill's is a beautiful mid-century modern that overlooks one of the few creeks Dallas has to offer to it's residents. Rucker and Rebecca were fortunate enough to buy the home from the original owner and turn it in to what is today. Only removing one wall, the Hill's were able to turn the home into an open concept with a chef's kitchen while incorporating the surrounding beauty of the outdoors. There isn't one place in or around the home that does not flow. We were fortunate to stumble onto the Hill's. I have always told them, as soon as I can build from the ground up, they are moving back to Texas. Their creativity and eye for detail are second to none. The way they are able to incorporate the outdoors in and the indoors out will absolutely have your bring them back for more.

Rucker and Rebecca did a fantastic job helping me remodel my kitchen. Once everything was lined up it was a seamless process from start to finish. I didn't even have to be in town for the work to be performed. During the project they also aided me in getting the house painted as an aside. I plan to use them in the future for other remodeling plans.

Ha commentato: Prospect Residence, DenverIt is a line of tile that or rep from Daltile helped us source.....It is likely from Vogue Bay, but I am not 100% on that. Also, it was from about 5 years ago, so it may no longer be in production.

Ha commentato: I love the Lehigh red brick ranch...roof color?It was either black, or the closest to it that I could get. I have always appreciated how the darkest color I can get at the time gives a lower profile to the home....

Ha commentato: What is the surface of deck made out of?Good'ol cedar decking! Its coloring came from a gray stain that we used on it which had weathered quite a bit by the time that we took these photos.
