Misty Harbor Builders owner and president Mike O’Connor came to America in 1994 after spending several years in the construction industry in various parts of Europe. Having been the lead carpenter for other construction companies for several years, he formed his own carpentry company in 1998, constructing large custom-built homes. Mike feels, “as a carpenter, you need to have an understanding of how all the other trade’s work and ensure that the house is constructed according to plan and be aware of potential problems.” With this extensive knowledge in home construction and a desire to create the ideal space to grow and nurture your family, Mike felt it was a natural progression to form Misty Harbor Builders, Inc. in 1999. Mike feels that each home he builds is a unique opportunity to work with new clients and enjoy the process of turning their dreams into reality. We start the process of building your new construction home with a meeting to create your dream home with a wish list. We understand that building a new home is complicated and try to help streamline the process for you. We work right alongside you to determine each aspect of the process and ensure that even the minutest detail is give due thought and process.
