Thanks to CHD I have. The kitchen and dinning room of my dreams. I could not make up my mind about some major colors and fabrics and went in and talk to Lance with my thoughts and ideas. He came to our home took his time looking at the entire downstairs to make sure it all came tighter in the end. The colors and fixtures we chose did bring it together by pulling out colors from art work and furniture we had. We love it.

Karsen was able to listen to my vision and turn my house into my dream home. She is incredibly gifted and a joy to work with. I love each room more than the next. She went above and beyond all expectations.

CHD is a wonderful place to find beautiful home furnishings. The store and its inventory is constantly changing which always makes for a fun shopping excursion. A design professional usually greets you at the door and makes you feel so welcome and they are always at the ready to help with design questions/ needs or help with choosing accents or a gift. I worked exclusively with Beth Cochran to furnish my whole home.Beth's challenge was to create a design that seemed to evolve over time. Many people are creative. A designer that has an eye for beauty and quality but is also a good listener is paramount. The results of my project were amazing ! So happy to have a relationship with CHD Interiors.

I worked with both Jerry and Cindy as interior decorators. They both were great! I worked with Jerry most directly. He helped decorate a large portion of my house. He put together a 47 inch gray for a 70 inch shelf and did an absolutely amazing job. He pays so much attention to detail but also appreciates your input in what you are looking for. The store has a lot of unique items and beautiful oil prints. I definitely recommend the store and Jerry and Cindy as decorators.

Being new to the area, my husband and I just happened upon CHD Interiors during an outing. We were highly impressed by the collections and furniture. The unusual chandeliers were quite outstanding. Jerry was extremely helpful and informative. We will surely be stopping by again soon! Loved this store!

The team at CHD helped me to begin updating my home, which is a process for me since it is something I cannot do all at once. An added challenge is that my husband and I have different styles. As soon as we moved in, we found out that we would be hosting a large family gathering right away. They helped me to pull together the main living areas enough to look great for the occasion. Since then we have been doing a little at a time to finish the look of the house. What can you say about Jerry Hobson? I have been a client of Jerry’s (and CHD) for over two years and in that time I have found him to be a great listener of my needs and desires in decorating my home. Jerry is extremely knowledgeable and creative about the blending of furniture and fabrics into a fixed amount of space. He always remains very conscious of the clients budget and uses his creativity and problem solving skills to make things fit into the overall design. I love the way that Jerry provides alternatives and options to choose from while providing the pros and cons of each. When my husband and I moved into our new home, we purchased a few items of furniture and were then stuck/confused as to what direction to take in our décor. Jerry of CHD did an amazing job of listening to us and presenting designs based on our likes and dislikes. He also helped us to "think outside of the box" a little. The result is a home that feels comfortable, that we love and are proud of. Jerry was always available and very attentive to details. My wife (who basically did everything) recently worked with Michelle Still and Karsen Hood on a rather extensive renovation and redesign of an investment property on Sullivan's Island (one day to be our personal residence). The house has 5 finished bedrooms, 4 baths and 4 Decks (Upper and Lower on the front, 1 screened-in and 1 exposed on the rear). The house has spectacular views overlooking Fort Moultrie, the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway. The best thing about working with Michelle and Karsen is the fact that they allowed my wife the flexibility to incorporate her ideas and touch while providing guidance, creativity and professional experience. In addition and if you've ever taken on a large project, then you recognize there will be challenges. When issues did manifest, we could have honest, candid and cost conscious discussions knowing that we were all on the same team...pulling for the best outcome possible. I would also point out that the value Michelle and Karsen brought to our project has more than paid for the expense. They are two of the best in the business. Further, I have personally had extensive conversations with the owner of CHD Interiors, Lance Griffith, and I can tell you he is an honorable person as well. We could not be happier with the final product!

These folks offer a lovely mix of interiors for varied tastes. When I first went in, I was looking for a decorative piece with a little whimsy...and I found just the perfect thing! Since then, I visit often just to see what they have so I don't miss anything!

Lance Griffith and his team go above and beyond on every project they take on, even taking the time to meet me at potential properties to share their vision. Michelle Still was recommended by my daughter who lives in Mt. Pleasant, SC and I live in Ormond Beach Florida. I was so excited that Michelle agreed to take on this daunting task of partnering with me on this out of state re-do for a number of rooms in our Florida home. I had been looking for a very long time for the an area rug to compliment our "coastal chic" decor and Hannah Mayo at CHD Interiors quickly and easily suggested the perfect one. After a fun consultation back in the "fabric room", she visited our home and recommended beautiful coordinating window treatments for every room in our house. She was mindful of our budget and suggested Roman Shades (less fabric) where appropriate, which I appreciated. She brought along a great end-table and bar stool, one of which we purchased on the spot. It was so much easier to have a professional help you with window treatments, especially with Open Concept homes where you have to consider what rooms you see from your vantage point. We ended up with beautiful bright "sea" colors of surf green, teal, and orange - no boring beige here! Hannah unfortunately moved out of state, but I have continued to visit the store and purchase a few pieces of furniture, antiques, and lamps, and find all the staff very knowledgable, helpful and friendly, Karsen in particular. I think it is THE best home decor store in the entire Charleston area. Even the install crew is super friendly, polite and great with which to work!

We began working with CHD on our home furnishings and design back in 2006. We were in our first home and wanted it to feel inviting and comfortable, but have a coordinated pleasing look. The designer met all of our needs, while staying within our budget. I am convinced having our home professionally decorated is the reason we were able to sell it in a difficult market when we realized we needed a bigger home. Now that we are in our 2nd home and we are almost 10 years out from our original purchases we have gone back to CHD to replace some of our well loved furnishings. We have been working with designer Meg Sandefur to replace some pieces that have just gotten lots of use with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Meg has been great at listening to our needs, and finding suitable pieces that coordinate with and update the design we started with 9 years ago. But given the mix of traditional and modern pieces we picked out back then, we are finding that our style and colors have stayed relevant. Meg has great knowledge of CHD's custom furniture lines and has easily helped us choose pieces and fabrics that will work with our existing design, our needs as an active family, all while staying within our budget. If you are starting from scratch or looking to update the look of your home, CHD is the perfect choice. We love the quality, the look, and the timelessness of the pieces they sell. And the design team will help you every step of the way!

When we moved out of our home and completely renovated it, CHD did more than we ever could've imagined to get our house back in living condition in a matter of months. We were very opinionated and knew what we wanted but CHD really helped us pull it all together. The finished product was more than we could've ever imagined. Since moving into my new house, I have worked with the lovely designers at CHD Interiors on everything from large open spaces to small intimate seating areas. I like to think of my house as a work in progress, and CHD Interiors continues to be with me every step of the way from consulting and designing to installing. Everything I need to complete my ongoing projects is all in one place. I have purchased from CHD smaller items such as accessories, lamps, and bar stools and larger items such as a dining room table, dining chairs, and a sectional sofa. The designers listen to my input and truly understand my need for livable furniture (I have two small children), but my desire for beautiful furniture. They deliver on all accounts!

CHD is fabulous! They're staff is so nice and easy to work with. I went in to find a fixture for above my kitchen table and they had exactly what I have been looking for. My Gabby chandelier is perfect!

CHD decorated our beach house. When we purchased it, it was a rental. It has 9 bedrooms and 9 1/2 bathrooms. Lance and his staff came in and totally transformed a rental into a warm and inviting home. Everyone who has seen our beautiful home has been totally amazed at before and after pictures. They listened to us and talked about our personalities. Every room reflects our family and the guest rooms are wonderful! We love it and are very proud of it.
