Chi siamo

mC Architecture + Design is a boutique design firm with a focus on high-end residential design. We have always believed total design is about serenity and simplicity and these can only be achieved when a space functions in harmony with the people who occupy it. mCAD was founded in 1999 by Meredith Colon-Reiman. Meredith received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland in 1995 and received her Masters in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998. She is a licensed Architect in New York and New Jersey and has a wide range of experience in residential and commercial projects as well as an extensive interior architecture and interior design background. Meredith worked for Robert A.M. Stern Architects for several years and then joined Ageloff and Associates, a small interior architecture firm in New York City where she worked for 10 years. She additionally worked with The Rosen Group in Summit, New Jersey to advance her knowledge of regional design. Currently, Meredith has a team of architects and interior designers working with her at her flourishing private practice.

MC Architecture + Design was creative, insightful, and impressive. We have used this firm twice, once for a complete apartment renovation in New York City and then a second time for a complete house renovation in Connecticut. Both times, we were very happy with the results as well as the process. Meredith's conceptual design talent was immediately obvious and the rigor and intelligence with which she approached her work was apparent from her first job with us in New York City. She has insightful advice and really listened to our needs. In addition, she guided us through the process making an overwhelming process stress-free. We are very pleased with the outcome and we highly recommend MC Architecture + Design.

Meredith Reiman from mC Architecture + Design was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very open to our ideas and put forth some ideas of her own which were greatly appreciated. Meredith also recommended our contractor and our cabinet maker both of who we loved.She was amazing to work with.

When we decided to gutt and rebuild the 2nd floor of our home we didn’t know where to begin. Working with Meredith at mC Architecture was a pleasure. Meredith helped us select contractors, subs, and the many vendors involved in building new bathrooms, closets, flooring lighting, etc. She has a deep understanding of both architecture and design, and even went shopping with us helping to select tiles, countertops, lighting, faucets etc. I highly recommend mC Architecture!

mC Architecture + Design is nothing short of spectacular. Meredith and her team not only understood my style and taste, but were extremely creative in helped me also see other options that ultimately were a better choice. I am about to work with them again for the 3rd time. I think I actually look for opportunities to work with them:)

Meredith is incredibly talented and skilled design and architecture professional who's both easy and fun to work with. She was very quick at turning out a variety of ideas and drawings and worked really well with our construction team. She's also very thorough which saved us quite a bit of money in the long run. We can't recommend her highly enough!

I had the good fortune to work with Meredith Colon-Reiman when I renovated my apartment in 2014. She is creative in her thinking, always timely in her work, excellent in her communication skills, and a wonderful member of the renovation team. I am so pleased with the outcome of the renovation and attribute much of its success to Meredith. I am pleased to recommend her!

We just completed a major renovation to our home and we could not be happier with the finished product! After interviewing several architects, we decided to go with Mc Architecture + Design as we felt that Meredith understood our "vision" of stylistically modernizing our 1950's ranch. Meredith remained in our project from start to finish -- she really listened, understood our needs and responded with on target inspiring ideas that were mindful of our budget constraints. Meredith was always there for us- whether it was communicating the vision to our builder or modifying plans when we came across the need for changes. Meredith's background in interior design is also a huge advantage -- her knowledge of architecture and design all fuse together to create a beautiful and functional end result. Mc Architecture + Design made the overwhelming task of renovating a home much less stressful. We highly recommend without reservation!!

Meredith worked with us to create a master plan for our current home. Her ideas and insights were nothing short of genius. She was always patient with us as we struggled to make decisions, using her years of experience to guide, while never imposing on us. During the first phase of our project she proved invaluable - always maintaining relationships with our contractor and subcontractors, always a phone call away. We enjoyed every minute we worked with her and look forward to phase two of our project!

We hired mC Architecture to reconfigure our kitchen and completely change it's design and layout. Their team had amazing vision for what our space could become and worked together with us to make it a reality. Our home is a Tudor Style and the original kitchen was dark and small. By moving some interior walls and changing the location of one exterior window, mC Architecture converted our kitchen into a large, bright space that is my family's favorite place to congregate. mC Architecture also assisted my family with kitchen design, selection of cabinetry and stone countertops, and backsplash. Meredith Reiman of mC Architecture was with us through every step of this process. She was our creative visionary in the beginning and our trusted advisor until completion of our project. I would highly recommend mC Architecture and can't wait to use them again for our next renovation project.
