Chi siamo

Maria K. Bevill Interior Design believes that each client is unique and combines years of experience with strong intuition. Maria helps her clients achieve the home they envision. Maria Bevill is an Associate Member of ASID and has been a member of IDS since 1990. She studied at Kean College with extensive training in fine arts and interior design. Her artistic vision has been enriched through her widespread travels in Europe, Africa, Asia, and as a collector of antiques and original art for over 30 years. After working in an interior design firm for wight years she has been serving both residential and commercial clients and has collaborated with builders and architects in new home construction and remodeling. Her work has been featured in Design NJ and New Jersey Monthly. She was awarded the Community Appreciation Award by the Chester Historical Society for her sensitive expansion of a historically registered home, and has a number of times had her home in house tours in Morris County.

Looking for professional interior design help with your home renovation project? Maria is the best!! She is professional, thorough and efficient. She will solicit your thoughts and desires and will quickly develop recommendations to suit your needs based on an extensive background of experience and hands on knowledge. Maria will then carefully review and adjust plans as needed, to meet your specific desires and budget. We have used Maria for many projects over the years and have always been delighted with the results. She can handle any project you desire from assistance with furniture choices, draperies, wallpaper, rugs, lighting and even complete kitchen remodeling. We highly recommend Maria for all of your decorating needs.

Maria is so passionate and professional about design. Her perfectionism shows in the final results. My home is complimented over and over and I really owe it all to her. She worked with my architects, builders, kitchen designers and more. She spent countless hours with us and we still work with her today. She goes above and beyond when it comes to service and if there are any issues with the manufacturers she resolves them. Most importantly she is kind and pleasant to work with. She truly honored our taste, needs and wants own every way!

Maria is fabulous to work with! Collaborating long distance--project is in NJ, I am in Maryland--could have been a challenge, but Maria made it easy! She quickly determined what was needed, kept the 'big picture' in mind for various rooms, stayed within budget even when I didn't know what the budget was

I've been a client of Maria's for over 20 years, and during that time she has been my trusted decorating guru for projects big and small. She's masterful at curating my basic ideas or inspirations into a vision I never could have imagined. To say Maria is masterful at her job is an understatement. She taught me to invest in timeless pieces and to be bold in my choices. In the past when I haven't listened to her I've always regretted it, so now she's always the boss (just ask my husband!). Truly, there are days I walk into my home and sigh with content and it's all because of Maria.

Maria and I have been working together for the past 2 years on multiple rooms in my home. We started from scratch and Maria has excelled at helping me identify and refine the vision for my house, creating a cohesive look that is both beautiful and livable for a young family. Maria has a network of qualified home professionals (from painters to contractors), and an amazing eye for color and floor plans. She will present options in a variety of price points and sticks to agreed upon budgets and timelines. I have been thrilled with everything she does, and I highly recommend Maria!

Maria is a pleasure to work with! She is a true designer in the sense that she will accommodate her clients' tastes and needs to create a cohesive project that is unique to that room. Maria has excellent taste, and is respectful of her client's budgets. She helped me redecorate my family room. In doing so, Maria made the room look modern and updated, while still ensuring that it coordinated with the more traditional furnishings in the rest of the house. I would highly recommend her!

Maria is a fellow ASID designer and one that I have worked with on a few projects. I have the utmost respect for her as a professional and also as a designer. Maria has a great deal of expereince having been practicing for over 20 years, but she is also someone who always stays current with technology and trends. Maria can not only do traditional design, but she can do contemporary and she also does both residential and commercial work. Whatever Maria does, she does it exceptionally well. And let me not forget her ability to accessorize. She can always add the perfect artwork or accessory to finish a space to magazine quality. Maria is truly one of the best designers that I know.

I have worked with Maria for over 15 years on many projects in my home including a complete kitchen and master bath remodel, furniture, paint, window treatment and carpeting purchases. I am the type of client who has no idea what she wants and needs extensive help trying to figure that out. Maria is very patient and not pushy. She shows me a range of options and helps me put a look together that is perfect for me and my family. In all our years working together, Maria has never missed an appointment and has always been on time. She keeps me up to date on the status of my purchases and dates of deliveries. I always look forward to working with Maria and know that the finished product will look fabulous!

Maria Bevill has been doing interior design in Morris and Somerset Counties in NJ for many years. Her work has been published in major design magazines multiple times. Why? Because she takes a project from start to end, never missing a beat, addressing every detail, and working from the perspective of the client's desires and taste. From a small room in the home, to the entire project, including carpentry, electrical, structural, furnishings, draperies, flooring, etc., Maria has the experience to coordinate all of these aspects into one beautiful outcome. And at the end, she will accessorize the room(s) to perfection. The best thing that I may be able to say about Maria and her design talent is that you get great value from having her as your designer. Anyone who knows Maria and doesn't hire her, especially considering her competitive pricing structure, will wish to have a second opportunity at a later date. Don Kalfus
