We highly recommend Main Street Homes (MSH)! The high level of service and excellent quality we received is remarkable. From the planning stages, to building, through warranty and beyond we’ve had nothing but a positive experience. Our home turned out stunning and solid. During our home creation process we worked closely with Joe, Andreas, Bob, Stacey, and Ryan. Each step of the way, we felt like a top priority for them. They made the process enjoyable and easy for us, as we were able to rely on their high level of experience. When visiting our home site during construction, it was kept clean and the crews were always hard at work. They often took time to introduce themselves and give an explanation of what they were working on. We feel we really got to know our house from the ground up. Although we are providing only one review, it’s important to explain our decision to build with MSH comes from a long list of positive referrals. During our search for a builder everywhere we went in the building community one name kept coming up in the most positive light: Joe Huczek of Main Street Homes. Realtors, developers, bankers, suppliers, etc. spoke very highly of Joe describing him as honest, dependable, having a high level of quality and service, experienced and much more. But most importantly, we sought out past clients who told us how extremely happy they are with their homes and MSH. After having built with MSH, we couldn’t agree more and are proud to own a MSH! Now that we are living in our home, we are able to reflect back on what it took to build it and would happily do it all over again with them. It is one of the best decisions we have made. Working with Joe, Andreas, Stacey and the MSH team was a pleasure in the construction of our magnificent home. Joe put in a lot of extra time and effort helping us to overcome superfluous HOA restrictions at the outset of our build. From selections to custom specifics to meet the needs of our large family, we felt our input was valued and budget conscious solutions were achieved. Our open floor plan with huge mud room, custom built-ins, gorgeous pillared front porch and attention to detail everywhere have given our family a wonderful place to call home.

The whole team that you interact with at Main Street Homes (Joe, Stacey, Andreas, Ryan, and Bob) are awesome. All of them are easy to contact by phone or email and are always professional. I consider the work quality to be very good. There were several finishing touches that were completed at no additional cost, which was a nice surprise. When small mistakes were made (which are bound to happen with any larger project) they always made it right. We did end up slightly over budget due to some unforeseen added costs (such as a need to re-drill the well and add a water filtration system). Deadlines were very close to on schedule and we moved in only 3 weeks later than originally planned - not bad for new construction.

We hired Main Street Homes (MSH) to do a major remodel to our home we recently purchased. MSH helped us convert a full-size bath off of our kitchen into a half bath and a beautiful walk in pantry. They also completely finished our lower level adding a full bath, bedroom and a rec room. We were so happy with the results that we hired them again to design and build a three-season room with an upper outdoor deck. Our three-season room is our favorite place to be in our house and can be used year-round with the fireplace MSH installed. Joe and his team were always professional and friendly. We felt the design process was excellent with Joe’s great ideas working hand and hand with his architect. Joe’s sub-contractors were easy to have in our home, as we lived in the home doing our remodel. I highly recommend them, in fact we will use them again when the time comes for us to re-do our kitchen!

We met Joe through our realtor and after a couple of discussions with him, understanding the process involved, and seeing the quality and workmanship of the model home, we decided to go with him to build our new home. We are very happy with our decision and it was a pleasure working with him. If we have to build another house, we will go with him again without a doubt!

MSH did a great job for us. The attention to detail, commitment to quality combined with open communication, and integrity is just what we were looking for in a builder. Joe and his team worked closely with us to get the house we wanted. They tracked changes (both adds/deletes) to ensure we always knew where our budget was. They also stay with you and remain available to discuss any concerns or changes desired after you move in! The whole team ... Joe, Andreas, Bob, etc.. are a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I were new to construction and after unanimous recommendations from colleagues, went to Main Street Homes in Ann Arbor to work with Joe Huczek. The timing was somewhat difficult because my mom was critically ill, but the entire team has been a dream to work with from start to finish in our new home build. Joe, Andreas, Ryan and Stacey made the process quite easy. The architect we worked with, Jeff Ziegelbaur, listened to everything that was important to us incorporating and remembering details in the design. The team walked us through all of the steps in the building process and patiently answered all of our questions. Stacey's design choices were fantastic and she too listened to what was important to us, and helped me make choices that have turned out beautiful. Andreas also was great, keeping things moving along and communicating along the way. Ryan also is a gem-he provided oversight to details and has checked in to ensure everything we wanted or needed was completed. With the entire team I felt like I was a family member-that my project was as important as their own mother's. The quality of construction and materials is fabulous and every work crew commented on how lucky we were. In fact, each work crew had nothing but great things to say about the company-Main Street Homes has a great reputation and good relationship with all that work for them. We love our home, and I can't imagine working with anyone else. Joe's home designs are each unique and beautiful and we have enjoyed watching his other projects come to fruition. The whole team is fantastic! If we were ever to build again, there is no question that I would go with Main Street Homes.
