I would highly recommend Jol Portas, very helpful, nothing was issue, I got beautiful oak doors, oak handrails, beautiful flooring, skirting boards, architraves, new stairs, all exactly as I wanted, the work commenced on date I was given and completed within the time frame I was told, exceptionally clean and efficient, I was extremely happy with the finish, would highly recommend. The guys were super friendly, courteous and efficient.

Got my stairs done recently. The lads are very polite,professional,and very tidy. When finished we where delighted with the result. Would recommend Portas to anyone.

We got our stairs & banisters renovated & the landing floor too, as well as a new unit/door for under the stairs. The transformation is amazing - brings a contemporary look to the hallway now. John & Chris were great workers & very professional & punctual. They took 4 days in total to complete the job. We couldn’t fault them at all, we will be recommending “Portas” to all our family & friends.

Couldn’t be happier with both the finished product and the service I received from Portas. John was so helpful at my initial consultation. He made great suggestions and really helped me to visualise the final result. I had had a few other companies quote for the work but what really convinced me that Portas was the right choice was John’s willingness to work with me to find the right solutions, rather than the one size fits all approach I’d seen elsewhere. They delivered on schedule and both himself and Chris did stellar work over a number of days which has resulted in a finish that looks fab. I’ll definitely use Portas again and would highly recommend the team in Cork.

I contacted Portas with a view to installing a new stairs. A home visit allowed me to discuss the work in detail. Everything was done on schedule and I was very pleased with the quality of the work. The finished product was exactly as promised and I am extremely happy with my new stairs.

I am thrilled with my Portas hall, stairs and landing. It has totally transformed and modernised the area and is so easy to maintain. The fitters, John and Chris were very diligent, neat and precise. They even vacuumed the place before leaving. Overall, dealing with the Portas Company was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them to anybody - you will be delighted with the outcome.

A stairs renovation job exceeded my expectations. My friends love it when I show it off. Workers arrived on appointed time and worked diligently, my house was left clean and neat afterwards.

We had our staircase and landing area renovated by Portas, The job took three and a half days and the team arrived on time and finished exactly on schedule. There was minimum disruption and our house was cleaned at the end of each day. We are very happy with the standard of work and the attention to small details was excellent.
