My wife and I engaged Lisa Tharp Design to redecorate our loft apartment in downtown Boston, and couldn't be happier with both the results and the experience or working with Lisa and her team! Our project took place during the height of the COVID pandemic, and LTD managed the process to overcome the many hurdles of that time incredibly well. From the initial design interviews, through design, procurement and installation, the LTD Team was creative, responsive and transparent throughout. We strongly recommend Lisa Tharp Design!

Working with Lisa and her team has been a dream from the beginning. We began with a loose plan that because of family issues had to be readjusted and she was kind, professional and flexible. She and her team are so much fun to work with and the end product was beyond anything I could have imagined. We're starting our second and third projects with her and I can't wait to see how those turn out!

I fell in love with Lisa's work after seeing her own house on-line, and had high expectations based on other projects I'd seen that she'd done. Lisa and her team were a pleasure to work with, and did not disappoint. LTD helped us create not just a beautiful house that could be anyone's, but a home that is uniquely ours. She nails classic without being boring, pulls off unique without being too far out there, and manages to make everything gorgeous without being pretentious. It was important to our family for our home to feel inviting and casual, despite it's being on the large side. It's beautiful, but our young kids and their friends still feel comfortable coming in and plopping down on the couch. Speaking of young kids, Lisa and her team are also well-versed in keeping the environment and materials in homes as healthy and chemical-free as possible, which is something that is important to us, and not all that common among designers. She managed to give it a wow factor without being too trendy, all while fostering togetherness and keeping it cozy even though it's not small. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a designer who will listen, make things easy, and create an environment that they feel lucky to call home.

From our first meeting, I knew I had met a very talented, polished and unique designer. Her initial client intake process asking questions, showing images, coupled with her efficient ordering and interactive client presentation software takes all the guess work away and sets the stage for an amazing and fun design development phase. She is an artist who listens to what you like and dislike and creates spaces that represent you and your personality. Her intelligence and work experience in this field shine through in helping you come up with the design intent you want. She works well with general contractors and subcontractors and isn't afraid to try different applications to achieve one of a kind homes for her clients. Lisa K. Tharp is an extremely creative and talented designer who is a pleasure to work with. We were renovating an old 1860's home in historic Concord center in a short amount of time-a daunting process made so much easier with Lisa's help and expertise. Lisa was knowledgeable about period appropriate design, yet also helped us create a home that is fresh, fun and family friendly. She was always budget conscious and open-minded to all our varying ideas. We are thrilled with how our house came out and couldn't have done it without her.

Longleaf worked with Lisa on the incredible Concord Green Home project. She was knowledgable about the environmental and aesthetic benefits of using reclaimed wood, and worked our #2 Quartersawn Heart Pine flooring flawlessly into her design. Would highly and enthusiastically recommend Lisa for any projects involving reclaimed woods. The final product included some of the best-looking rooms we've seen in years. - Longleaf Lumber

I first met Lisa approximately 8 years ago when I needed help finishing the redecoration project in my home. I thought I only needed help accessorizing - Boy, was I wrong! After Lisa reviewed the space and offered suggestions, I realized it wasn't just the accessories. Lisa gently guided me to review my overall objectives in creating the changes in my home. After a careful and thoughtful reassessment, I turned the project over to Lisa. I was beyond estatic with what she was able to create with what I currently owned, my personality type and the functions of our family life. After awhile of loving living in my home once again, I decided to redo the house in it's entirety & I've never looked back. My home needed her design sensibilities, her artistic eye for space and color and her extraordinary talent to create a vision from disjointed concept to a WOW factor. Most importantly, I have worked with many professionals over time and I have never worked with anyone with so much ease and comfort. Lisa can easily work on a million dollar budget or bare bones to the complete satisfaction of her clients. I used to take pride in my own abilities to design and decorate until I worked with Lisa, now I can't imagine my life without her!

Ha commentato: what is this flooring called?Flooring is salvage antique heart pine, sourced from Longleaf Lumber in Cambridge MA. It is clear coated with Bona Traffic, though ECOS Varnish is a completely non-toxic option that is now available.
