Chi siamo

I am a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD), and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) in Universal Design with 21 years of experience in the remodeling design-build industry. Having worked in the design-build remodeling design for over 25 years her design work has won numerous awards and has been published regionally and nationally. Kristine has been recognized locally by the HBA with several first-place REX awards for bathroom remodeling. My approach to working with clients is to listen to their wants and needs for their project and then design the plans that meet those lifestyle needs while reflecting their personal style throughout the home to be uniquely their own. I also have experience working collaboratively with architects, contractors, and industry professionals.

We work on individual small projects, to average size kitchen and bathroom projects to large whole house remodels. We also work on new home construction projects with homeowners, contractors or developers. Budgets can be developed along side of design development or in collaboration with the contractor. We are well adept at providing optional material choices and plan changes as necessary to develop budgeting options.

My wife and I are homeowners of the “Sustainable Homestead” project in Kristine’s portfolio. In this 2008 whole house remodel Kristine masterfully blended a lifetime of our ideas, a recently purchased house, and her experience to create the home that you see in the pictures. Kristine is effective in listening, providing guidance, and rallying the necessary resources to make dreams come true. Five star recommendation!

This project was for a complete masterbath remodel. Kristine's design was amazing with all the elements we were looking for: a freestanding tub, wall mounted faucets, heated tile floors, and more. A glass wall separating the shower/toilet room was etched by a local artist with a scene of Mt Fuji and cherry blossoms. She and project manager Ted were on site almost daily making sure the project went smoothly. We ended up with a fabulous zen-style masterbath that is being entered in several designs competitions. We would definately hire them again!

Kristine is an understated talent in the design world. It has been my professional delight to work directly with her as a design colleague and tile installer. She continually reaches for the unimaginable and has the unique ability to procure the right products and personnel to bring about a successful result and standing ovation. Her name will continue to gain prominence as she breaches the walls of design possibilities. She is a high level professional who studies her clientele and spawns in them new ideas rather than pushing her own agenda. Her eye for design is always changing with each client's needs and desires, but remains flawless in each genre.

Ha commentato: Love the book CabinetThank you! This was a project in a condo in Down town Portland for an owner who use to work for a lumber company. It was a very fine Cherry Wood with a bead detail on the doors.
