No matter the client, we build and evolve the design experience around your budget and needs! Whether it be a family heirloom, a favorite drawing of a client's child, or a piece that has special meaning, we strive to include treasures that are important to the client in the new design. Rather than offering a single plan that our design team imagines, clients are given design options so that their personal style can come through! From "Mom Caves" to pet feeding and bathing stations, all members of the family are considered in our design process. The K. Rue Team's passion for renewing, refinishing, reinventing or reusing pieces the client already owns is a key factor in many of our projects. Through the use of CAD and other software programs, we bring rooms to life digitally so that clients can envision rooms before they are designed and built, both in line drawings and colored renderings. K. Rue was recommended to me by a friend and I cannot be more grateful for the opportunity to work with Kim and Cyndi. They have taken a space and created something that conceptually, I couldn't have ever imagined. Their attention to detail, willingness to work with you, professional renderings, and one on one discussions go beyond the scope of what my initial expectations were. K. Rue gets five starts, and if there were a sixth, they would get another! Highly reccomend.

Kim and Cyndi transformed our study and master bedroom, which were previously OK, but in need of an update and proper arrangement. Within a couple of weeks of our initial meeting, we met at their office to look at suggested layouts and products. And walking through the showroom gave us great inspiration for rugs and fabrics. We loved them all, but chose the designs that are absolutely perfect for our space. I wish I had done this sooner. We are so pleased.

K Rue Design has done an amazing job through 2 remodels in my house. We did our kitchen 10 years ago and I still get compliments. Our current project is a total upgrade to the rest of our house and Kim and Cyndi have a vision that is fantastic. I am so happy with all the work they have done for us.

Thanks Judy. Know we're in mid remodel but the upstairs enlarged Master Bath and Master closet are really outstanding. The J&J bath is looking great as well. Can't wait for remodelers to start everything on the first floor after the holidays. The new furnishings we have selected will look beautiful once the first floor is finished early next year.

I've been working with Kim Kramer and her team for several years during the redecorating of the kitchen, master bedroom, and living room shelves. The home is getting a fresh, updated look. Kim and her team have provided beautiful design options and ideas that I would never have considered by myself, with the finished rooms looking gorgeous. Besides the quality of work, Kim continually provides personalized and "quick to respond" service. As I've told her, she "hits her projects out of the ballpark"!

Thanks Diane - we have helped you transform your traditional home with updates that have taken a transitional feel and look without tearing down walls or making major changes. Loved that you allowed us to wallpaper the back walls of your Great Room cabinetry to break up the solid wood look.

From start to finish K.Rue Designs was with me the whole time. They have excellent contractors who work with them. Everyone is dealing with delays but K.Rue always kept seeking information. The designers were extremely helpful when picking out countertops, bath tub suggestions, etc. The final product is beautiful! Really cannot say enough about the talented group.

Working with Kim and her team has been a complete pleasure! When we enlisted their help to furnish our new home, they were quickly able to create a plan that matched our style and budget. Detailed storyboards with options for each room made the process easy and fun. Not only is this a team of talented professionals, it is a group of truly caring people. K. Rue Designs went above and beyond for us this year on our kitchen remodel. From the initial consultation to the final project presentation we have been very pleased with the custom selections, professionalism and the ability of Kim and her team to help us stay on budget for the project. Each member of the K. Rue team was able to meet with us throughout the process and each offered a unique perspective in a different area. This was very helpful as this was our first remodel and we did not think of all of the selection options they are already familiar with regarding colors, hardware, cabinetry and even workspace flow. Cyndi offered excellent technical abilities as was able to digitally design our plans and provide a beautiful storyboard of illustrations that helped to help visualize the final project. Kelly and Sophia offered incredible insight on color schemes when picking cabinetry and hardware. As an additional bonus Kim was able take something we had hoped for; a pantry AND coffee bar and incorporate it into the project. Overall the entire team's honest opinions and straight forward manner in which the they conduct themselves really adds levels to their professional design talents.

Having worked with several interior designers throughout the years, I have to give Kim and her team the highest of praise in their design skills, creative problem-solving skills, customer service and professionalism. They stand behind their work and even paid to have my entire room repainted (at their cost - they wouldn't even allow me to split it) when it appeared that the color was "quite right" I would have never asked for this on my own but this is the type of service you are getting when you hire this amazing team!
