They worked with us patiently to ensure every detail was not only aesthetically beautiful but also functional for our daily lives. Kyle took my ideas and wishes and transformed the space beyond my dreams. The space is one of my favorites in the whole house.

Kyle and his team did an amazing job designing our entire house of cabinetry, with two kitchens, laundry and bathrooms. The quality is second to none and we would highly recommend to anyone building or remodeling their home!

Kyle designed our kitchen remodel and referred us to a contractor. The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The cabinet people did beautiful work. The only hitch was the cabinet people forgot some of the trim. It was a small hitch in a large project. We are so happy with the final result! I would definitely refer Kirschman to anyone looking for a remodel.

This has been the most exciting year (2022) that we’ve lived in our house! It was time to remodel our kitchen – something we had dreamed of doing for many, many years. We chose Kirshman Kitchens in Kalamazoo to help us design our new kitchen. We had known about their company and admired the various stunningly beautiful kitchens they created over the years in Kalamazoo and elsewhere in southwest Michigan. We met with them the middle of last year at their Kitchen Design Studio with some basic ideas of what we hoped to have in the kitchen and told them also that we wanted to have the kitchen space enlarged. Their employees came out afterwards to measure every bit of our kitchen as well as the hallway, the bathroom, and the mudroom leading to our back door. Shortly after this the owners produced a detailed computer-aided design (CAD)showing us in 3 D what the space would look like using most of our mudroom for a pantry and removing the last part of the original wall between the kitchen and its informal dining area. They gave us names of companies in Grand Rapids and in Kalamazoo for wood flooring and appliances and backsplash tiles. They recommended a cabinet maker in Indiana (custom builders) as well as a stone works company in Grand Rapids for our countertops and long work table/dining table – with samples from which we could choose and they took care of ordering what we chose. They gave us a list of builders and we chose the builder who was also an architect – one of our very best decisions. He worked with various painters, electricians, and plumbers. And he himself eventually tiled the bathroom floor and the remaining mudroom area as well as putting up the backsplash tiles. Using Kirshman’s blueprints he knew just what to do and when … and from that very first day (the day after Christmas) when he came with his handyman to take out our existing counters and appliances and knock down various walls… the kitchen area was a joy because we could visualize little by little, day by day. what it would become. Our builder was always open to our comments or concerns and he was able to solve without difficulty any issue or complication that arose. Despite supply slow-downs country-wide, everything was available when it was needed and everything moved along smoothly…much quicker than we expected during this pandemic year. Everything was completed – even the installation of the last-to-arrive special-ordered large window - before the end of summer. We have truly been enjoying our new kitchen and find ourselves spending much of our time right there whether we’re cooking or not. It’s so big and bright … and beautiful in every way. We are especially grateful to Kirshman Kitchens for making it all possible.

From a custom building contractor’s perspective, I’ve experienced the pleasure of working with the talented team at Kirshman Kitchen Design Studio for several years. I’ve done many home remodels for their clients and installed cabinetry according to their proposed designs. Kirshman’s plans and layouts don’t miss a beat. They’re thorough and precise, most often to within 1/16”. The designers are extremely creative, approachable and easy to work with. If we ran into an unexpected on-site remodel issue, they responded immediately and an alternative plan was developed, as necessary. Kirshman’s communication and follow-through during the entire construction process assures cabinets and countertops are ordered in a timely manner and delivery is coordinated to arrive when on-site construction is ready for installation. And, the finished product is nothing short of outstanding. Cabinet quality is superior to most anything you’ll ever find. It’s all in the details and Kirshman’s thought process and planning covers all the bases. Kirshman’s is what exceptional design, personal service and product quality is all about.

I couldn't be happier with our new kitchen designed by Kirshman Kitchen Design Studio. The kitchen is a joy to work in. Corrie and her team are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their communication was spot on, always going the extra mile to keep us informed, even in these trying times of supply chain backlogs. Not only is the kitchen itself laid out extremely well - food prep area and cleanup area - but Corrie's design aesthetic is terrific, always keeping in mind the vision that I had for our home and kitchen. I would not hesitate to recommend Kirshman Kitchen Design Studio to anyone building or remodeling a home. Their work is impeccable, and they are very professional.

Renovating a home from soup to nuts is no easy task. Thankfully we were referred to Kirshman Kitchen Design . From day 1 they were welcoming, attentive, and strived to give us not only the kitchen of our dreams, but an entire house our dreams. Kyle and his team go above and beyond. Corrie Kirshman’s talent in design and her kind, patient demeanor is , by far, what got us through all the overwhelming decisions that an extensive remodel entails. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. She is all in, all the time. From phone calls or texts, to meeting us anywhere we desired to help us make the hard decisions, to taking the time to get to know us and what our taste was as to ensure we were completely satisfied with any and all details of our project, to becoming a personal friend, to say Corrie is an asset to Kirshman’s team, just doesn’t quite cover it. After briefly working with other designers in the past, the difference with working with Corrie is that she truly cares about your ideas and making your home YOURS, while others seemed to be designing the home of THEIR dreams. She was thoughtful, and knowledgeable, and knew when to push us outside our comfort zone , and when not to. From every aspect of our kitchen, to paint colors for every room in our home, every bathroom vanity and counter top, tile, stone, brick, or hardwoods, our home is filled with Corrie’s touch, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We now wake up everyday and say “I can’t believe this is OUR house!”, and that really is thanks to all of The Kirshman team, and Corrie’s natural way of connecting with her customer to ensure they are getting all they deserve. If there were an option for 10 stars, Kirshman’s would get it, hands down.
