I had the pleasure of working with John Pugh on a two family home renovation. I was asked to be part of the choices for the finishes and light fixtures throughout the property. My husband and I worked with John to conceptualize and design a small two level home that was rebuilt from the ground up for our mother. Rather then having an uncompromising artistic vision, John listened to us and incorporated our feedback into his ideas to create a space that was not only functional but open, bright and beautiful! He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from navigating ordinances and regulations, guiding us through the contractor selection process and was even available to check up on the contractors as the home was being built. We (and mom!) are thrilled with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to use John again for future projects.

John has a great combination of thoughtful design ideas and understanding of how to build those ideas. Whether looking for a traditional design sense or a modern twist, John has a way of achieving either or a combination of both. He is very easy to work with and brings out the best ideas through fruitful conversation and creative problem solving. I would recommend John for any size project, no matter how simple or complex.
