Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness I just want you to know what happened today on the deck project. The contractor Stecki Construction is hammering through the concrete wall for the past several days. The noise is a bit much. I was on a conference call and requested that they stop until my call was complete. The guy work on the wall jump back ran, over and got in my face. He started yelling he wasn’t going to stop and what was I going to do about it? I called Stecki Construction office and spoke to the owner He said they weren’t going to stop and have guys standing around He said the guy that got in my face was probable his brother and part owner. He said he didn’t have time to come up and deal with this but he would call. My recommendation is: 1) Never use Stecki Construction they are unprofessional 2) Please let others know they are not a responsive contractor I have been working in construction for over 30 years and I have never been threatened or treated this way.

Stecki Construction is a pleasure to work with. We've worked with them for many years and will continue to do so. They are always there if any questions arise and their attention to detail is wonderful. They care about their customers and only provide the best service. This is a family business. Two brothers (who grew up locally) and a father who stills works part time. They know the business of construction, but what impressed me the most was their integrity. They are open, honest, and sincere. Everything is very transparent with them. They have a website where they will update the progress of the construction on a regular basis. Any changes requested by the homeowner are immediately posted. If you happen to be out of town they will even post pictures of the construction process. They are on site often. If I had a question or concern about an issue, and they weren't present at the site, they would either immediately respond to a call or return the cal within 5 minutes. They communicate with the client very well. There doesn't appear to be any limit as to what they can handle in the way of the scope of a project. My project was a remodel/addition. It included demolition, a new roof, addition to the foundation, bathroom, in-floor heating etc. They kept things pretty much on schedule. When they had difficulty finding a sub-contractor to do a job, they accomplished the task themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone else.

Not often can you find a company, especially in the construction business that not only comes when they tell you they will be there, but also finishes the job when they say. We hired them for many projects including small and large jobs. We highly recommend Stecki Construction, Especially if you want the job done right and with the highest quality workmanship.

Stecki Construction has re-modeled my kitchen, put new wood floors in condo and made a beautiful banister for my stairs. My condo is in Utah but I live in Pennsylvania and all the above work was completed without my presence at the projects. I have found Stecki to be honest, hard working, creative, competitive pricing and timely on completing the projects. We have had no problems in working with Stecki Construction. We highly recommend them for any project.

I've hired contractors who are great with their hands, others that are great with their minds, and others yet who are great with aesthetics. It is not uncommon to get a contractor with two of the three, but in Stecki Construction you get all three!

Stecki Construction has done numerous projects, large and small, at my condominium. Their work is performed exactly as planned, neatly (with thorough cleanup), on time, and fairly priced. They respond very well to mid-project adjustments and unanticipated problems are resolved immediately onsite or with consultation if major. As a non-resident property owner, I would not hesitate for Stecki Construction to perform a remodeling project entirely in my absence. When this occurs, I receive regular progress photos as the job is completed. Stecki Construction is highly recommended.

The only on-time, on-budget, reliable contractor I have ever used! John and his family-run business remodeled my vacation home and did everything they promised, no hiccups, even from long-distance as I live 800 miles away from the site. The quality was very high. I HIGHLY recommend him.

We have used Stecki Construction for several projects and highly recommend John, Mike and their team. They are professional, trustworthy, honest and have an eye for detail. This past summer they gutted and renovated three bathrooms, rebuilt two staircases and installed all new interior doors. We live 2000 miles from the property so one would think long distance would be difficult. Not with the Stecki team. They provided pictures and status updates along the way and called or emailed to confirm selection choices. Our home was clean and put back together when we arrived for the summer. A few years ago they installed new wood flooring which is absolutely gorgeous. We would highly recommend Stecki Construction!

We employed Stecki Construction in the summer of 2013 to remodel our kitchen and family room which dated from the mid 1980’s. We live in our home seasonally and were not present during construction. John Stecki was wonderful to work with. He communicated and consulted with us throughout the project electronically with photo updates and e-mail consultations. He and the subcontractors worked closely with us in the kitchen and family room redesign process, providing great insight and expertise. Our general ideas were fleshed into the final specific design.. We were impressed with the subcontractors recommended and used. The final product exceeded our expectations.. The work was of the highest quality and the cost estimates were right on. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending John Stecki construction. We look forward to continuing to use this firm as we remodel the remainder of our home.

John and Jeff from Stecki Construction are true professionals. They're hardworking, honest, and most important, complete the job within the budget and time frame set. We did a major kitchen and bath remodel during the fall of 2013. From our first meeting during the bidding process they went out of the way to make the job stress free. We'll be using them again for all home renovations in the future and I highly recommend you do as well. Thanks, Greg
