First off, I want to say I don't give many 5-star reviews. BUT this one is well deserved. JOAT and Kristen were excellent to work with. Being a project manager myself, I appreciated how organized and timely our project was. She laid out a google calendar of all the work/contractors dates. Any concerns were always openly brought up for discussion. Timely, estimated and actuals of the budget were provided regular. All of the contractors were professional, courtesy, great with my family, and cleaned up after themselves. Remodel projects are always daunting, but I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with Kristen and her team to create a space that my family and I now love. Even after the project completion, Kristen has been thoughtful to follow-up on items and to check-in to make sure we still love everything and that there are no issues.

Kristen and her team at Jill of all trades are outstanding! They have completed a number of projects for me including cabinets, window seats, built-ins, trim, finish work and electrical . Top of the line quality workmanship is what you will get when working with Kristin and her team.

We highly recommend JOAT. We hired Kristen to renovate a bathroom. Unlike contractors that we used in our previous house, Kristen's communication was outstanding. We knew when her team would arrive and what work they would be completed. Her guys were always on time. Whenever there were any small issues, which always pop up, Kristen addressed them immediately. Additionally, Kristen is a great person. We will definitely be using JOAT for any future renovations.

We feel very grateful to have had Kristen and her team at Jill of All Trades finish our basement. We told Kristen we were interested in a Scandinavian/Modern look, and she was able to help us accomplish our goals to the highest standards. Kristen is very organized; her work, and the workmanship of her team is top-grade. She is very detail oriented, and wants to make certain you are satisfied with the project along the way. Our floors, the beautiful tile work, amazing crafted cabinets, and countertops, together with the difficult projects accomplished by the plumbers, electricians, and HVAC, were always done with precision, professionalism and great care. We purchased our house and hired Jill to do a major renovation on the main living level. Removed multiple walls, ripped out all the sheetrock (due to asbestos), added a 16x19 extension with a Master bath, and renovated two other bathrooms and our new "open" floor plan kitchen. Jill was extremely helpful in helping us design the new floor plan of the house and in picking out finishes, hardware, plumbing, etc.. Jill's subs are top notch, cant complain about any of them and a special shout out to the electrician because I've never seen wiring so neat and organized. Unfortunately no one will see it, but it was impressive. We ran into a lot of issues/unknowns due to the age of the house and Jill was able to guide us and assist in revising the plans to try to remain within budget with our "surprises"...and we had a lot of "surprises". Would definitely hire Jill again if the need ever arouse.

When looking back at our experience doing a whole home renovation with Jill of All Trades the one word that comes to mind is AMAZING!! Most contractors will give you a time frame that they NEVER stick to. Kristen not only stuck to her very quick time line of 3 months but she also provided us with a shared google calendar which detailed every sub contractor and when they would be at our home. It’s communication at its finest which is Rare if not impossible to find in this industry. In addition to the outstanding communication is her attention to detail. She caught things her subs missed or may have done incorrectly before I even had a chance to notice them. She made sure every single thing was done correctly and if something wasn’t then she fixed it immediately. Her design ideas were also on point. She reconfigured our kitchen so that it not only looks better but functions better as well. She gave us all the tools we needed to choose the perfect counters, paint colors and lighting. I just can’t say enough good things about our experience but I can assure you that if you choose Jill of All Trades for your next home project you will NOT be disappointed! Save yourself all the stress and frustration of hiring another normal contractor and hire the best instead. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with Kristen and her crew!

Kristen and her team did an amazing job renovating our kitchen, as well as the floors and paint for the rest of the house. It looks and feels brand new. She helped and was involved with the entire process and was cognizant of even minor details. She attended meetings with subcontractors, vendors, even off site. We really appreciate all of the hard work she and everyone else put in and would highly recommend JOAT for any project. Easily the best and most knowledgeable team we have worked with!

Kristen Replaced our kitchen bar with a kitchen island and I’ll have to say it was the most pleasant and stress-free project I’ve ever been involved with. Even though it was a small part of our entire project, Kristen assisted us With coordinating our hardwood floor installation/refinishing and painting even though we were using other subcontractors . Kristen also placed a suggested order for us for our sink, faucets,hardware etc. and emailed it to us and we approved it and her suggestions not only made it easier for us but Made our kitchen island look like a masterpiece. We plan on doing future projects and will definitely use Jill Of All Trades!!

I cannot say enough good things about Jill of All Trades. Kristen is beyond thorough, and you know you are in the best hands when it comes to your home. Our project had some hiccups, and Kristen and her team came up with solution after solution. The end product exceeded my expectations and we are so happy with our much needed upgrades. We just love our new kitchen, it is much bigger and the new layout functions perfectly for our family. It is definitely now the heart of the home and a space we are happy to be in. Kristen was very easy to work with, has a great eye for design, and is a perfectionist! She suggested the island color, countertops and tile, and we love it all!

Kristen did a great job of remodeling our kitchen. She did it in the time frame that was promised, the quality was great and she was very helpful in making decisions that were very tough for us.

Willing to offer suggestions and opinions when requested but never steps over the line. Works "with you" to give you the vision for the completed project that is above and beyond what you imagined. Kristen completed a complete kitchen renovation for my wife and I. She is fantastic - everything she said she would do in the timeframe promised was done. Her crew is very professional and a joy to have in your home. there was never a time my wife or I felt uncomfortable with her crew. We interviewed 3 contractors before going with Kristen. After speaking with her the first time, we knew it had to be her. She really is a special lady - we love our kitchen, office , newly refinished wood floors, and the removal of many load-bearing walls. The worst part of the project was the end, because I knew I wouldn't see her anymore to joke around with.

Jill of All Trades is fantastic! We started with a full kitchen remodel and decided during the project to remodel, basically, the entire main floor. Kristen is a very organized professional with excellent communication skills and wonderful design expertise. What could have been very stressful, was actually so much fun! Even with our add-ons, the project was complete according to the original schedule, which was provided a few weeks prior to the start date via a shared calendar. We could not be happier with our choice of contractor as Jill of All Trades literally exceeded our expectations!

We've been around the block with too many contractors and subs that over promise and under deliver so we truly appreciate how punctual, friendly and CLEAN they were. They showed up when they said they would and gave an updated timeline on what to expect along the way. If you're looking for a contractor that loves what she does and truly cares about her work and the relationship with her clients then Kristen is the right choice! Kristen with Jill of All Trades could not have done a better job on our master bathroom remodel. The space before was very choppy and difficult to use with outdated hardware, cabinets and a shower that was way to small. The bathroom is now spacious, updated and functional, but most of all it is gorgeous! Kristen was extremely knowledgeable from start to finish about all design and construction aspects. She designed the cabinet to perfection. She is a perfectionist and her attention to detail is second to none. I highly recommend Jill of all Trades. In fact, I have used her for several smaller projects since the master bath remodel. Would love to use her again for a kitchen remodel when I can get it in the budget.

We had a full kitchen remodel and main floor update. Kristen and her team are top notch. LET'S GET READY FOR SOME BASKETBALLLLLLLL!!!!! The owner of this company, Kristen, is amazing. When we had a leak in our kitchen a few years ago, she helped facilitate the insurance and completed the repair. Everything turned out beautifully. So much so, that we are deciding to keep our home and have her team upgrade and redesign into a home that truly fits our family. This week we started with adding a small basketball court to our backyard. My family loves all things basketball and my son didn't have a place where he could practice daily. She did all of the research for us and we are well on our way to playing some family 2 on 2. Concrete is complete and goal will be up and ready for action next week. (I will post photos of the completed project). If you want a VIP experience and an end result that you LOVE (not like, because she will not be satisfied until you LOVE IT) J.O.A.T. is the place to call. All things are completed with perfection. I cannot say enough good things about her :)

I can’t say enough about Jill of all Trades! She did such a wonderful job with out kitchen renovation! Her attention to detail is like no other. When we were stumped about design elements she was able to use her expertise to suggest the best ideas for not only aesthetics but also for functionality for our large family. All of the subs were fantastic and professional as well! I would definitely hire her again!

(also posted to Google Reviews) After living in our builder-grade kitchen for nearly 17 years, my wife and I came to the conclusion that we'd officially run out of storage space and prep surface area, so we invited a few contractors over to talk about a possible kitchen remodel. The first few folks offered up ideas of deeper, taller cabinets and extending the countertop a little bit, but we were left questioning whether the huge disruption in our life during the remodel would be worth the improvement. When Kristen came over, she talked with us for a few minutes about our current situation, asked how we'd like things to be different, and then took a minute or two to think about it. She then said, "How do you feel about big ideas?" "What do you have in mind?", we replied. She offered up that we could remove the wall between the living room and kitchen to open things up and permit the installation of what we ended up calling the "big-ass island". This seemed like the right direction for us to go in, so we thought about it and gave her the thumbs-up. (She also pointed out that quality work was going to be expensive and got us prepared for what such a remodel was going to cost. I think, in the end, we were pretty darn close to what she estimated.) We used our dining room (and bathrooms!) as a makeshift kitchen for a little more than a month (as she predicted from day one) and during the entire time, she was a great communicator (as she told us up-front) and she has a team of people whom she's worked with for a long time and it was clear that they all communicate well and do quality work. (For example, we have an electrician that we love and when he was over doing some unrelated work, I showed him the work that Kristen's electrician had done and he gave it a lot of praise, noting, "I don't usually think very highly of other electricians' work, but I really like what this guy's done here.") My wife and I created a text-message group for the three of us and were able to coordinate the work (since we both work at home) to minimize interference with our conference calls and so forth. We also have a keypad deadbolt and from day one, we created an access code for her because we knew this had to be a relationship based on trust and if we didn't trust her (and her subs), then we were starting out with some awful assumptions. She never let us down with that trust. Yes, there were a small number of glitches, but Kristen -- in my opinion -- did whatever she could to straighten things out and in the end -- as she told us all along -- "I don't want you to like your new kitchen; I want you to *love* your new kitchen." And to be sure, we love our new kitchen. (And additionally, she's a really nice person.) Little side-note: When people ask on Nextdoor if anyone has remodeling recommendations, I *don't* give them Kristen's name. Why? Because I don't want some random person trying to nickel-and-dime her or being a jerk to her because they're a crazy customer. I will only steer people to her if I think they would really and truly be a good fit. I don't want my name tied to someone who thought they knew something about remodeling and treated her like a jerk. We're looking at a master-bath remodel in our future and will be using Kristen to do it, no question about it.

We used Kristen for a main level overhaul. We took out a wall, added wainscoting, crown molding, recessed lighting, new floors, light fixtures, and new stairs/railing/spindles (and this is just the shortlist). It was a huge undertaking and I am beyond thrilled with how the project turned out. Kristen was amazing to work with. After 6 months of quotes, and going back and forth with other contractors we hit a home run. She was responsive, detailed, and honest. I had a schedule of when and who would be in my house with evening updates and she answered my constant questions without issue. I highly recommend her and I can’t wait to use her for our kitchen reno.

I hired Jill of All Trades to remodel my master bath. When Kristen (builder/owner) came to my house, she looked at the space and then asked me to tell her what was important to me as the homeowner. I told her that contractors being neat and respectful of our space, knowing what to expect on a daily basis and keeping to a specific time frame were our key points. Before we started, I had a very detailed proposal in my hands so there were no surprises as far as costs were concerned. I don't like shopping, so I showed Kristen some ideas I had found on Pinterest that reflected my taste and desired "look" for the project. Kristen made suggestions and even met me to select tile. I think it took all of 20 minutes to choose my tile because she had listened to me and done her research. Once the project began, I had a detailed schedule of who was showing up each day and what was happening in my house. All of Kristen's contractors were neat, courteous and very respectful of our home. The job is now complete, and I have to say that Kristen exceeded all of my expectations. From delivering exactly what she promised, her highest quality of work, attention to detail and responsiveness any time I had a question, I feel like 5 stars isn't a high enough rating. I will never use another builder for any of my remodeling projects.

I picked Jiill of All Trades due to some positive feedback I've read on reviews. Unfortunately for me it did not work out at all. Kristin did a poor job project managing as the people she kept sending me either had no idea what was expected of them (poor communication from the main contractor) or did not have the skill set to do so. Multiple calls and email would go unanswered and in the end Jill of All Trades pulled out of the job leaving me high and dry with an email stating she can't do it. Not even the courtesy of a call and conversation but an email. My experience was negative filled with lack of professionalism, lack of any project management and an overall waste of time. I kept hearing about these large million dollar homes they work on. I guess this job was too small for them and not worthy of their time. I would not recommend.

Kristen at Jill of All Trades recently refaced my kitchen island. She transformed a very plain island into one that looks like it was custom built. Her work is amazing, and she is a great communicator. She always let me know what time the crew would arrive each day, and kept me informed on the status of the product. I definitely will hire her again!

I cannot recommend Kristen and Jill of All Trades enough....top notch!! She has done 2 major jobs for me....a full basement (full kitchen, family room, full bath and bedroom) and a total home renovation from the roof down. Kristen is very detail oriented, organized and particular...just what I want in a contractor. Her subcontractors are all top quality and trustworthy. Kristen has become a friend and someone I continue to use and trust.

Kristen and Team at Jill of All Trades did a full build-out of our basement level to accommodate a mother-in-law suite (2 bedrooms with walk in closets, kitchen, living room, dining room bathroom), they also did two bathroom remodels, and an exterior house remodel. Pricing was fair and the final cost was exactly what Kristen said it would be. Her team was very professional and did excellent work. Kristen also helped with design and her ideas turned out beautifully. I would absolutely recommend Kristen and team for any build or renovation, and I'll absolutely use Jill of All Trades in the future.

We have hired Kristen before. But, this time, we hired her to oversee the construction of our pool. We could not be happier. We saved so much money by just having her negotiate the contract with the pool company. She helped us pick the colors for the pool and the design elements. When the pool company wouldn't listen to exactly what we wanted (extra lighting and a hand rail for elderly guests), she made sure they they understood its importance. She made sure our interests were always being taken care of. We work in the city and did not have time to oversee every aspect of putting in a pool. Kristen made sure that all the details were handled and handled correctly. I don't even want to know what putting in pool is like without someone like Kristen to worry about the details for you. If you have a construction job, and you want it done right with the least amount of anxiety and hassle to you, Jill of all Trades is the company for you.

As I am reading the other reviews, I'm not sure what else I can add to all the wonderful things that have already been said about Kristen and her company. Every word is true! We just finished a full master bath renovation and we could not have been happier with the process and the end result! I always felt like Kristen & I were a team when it came to the design decisions - and as I came to realize closer to the end of our project, her choices were always spot on! I loved working with Kristen and really appreciated the fact that everyone she brought into our home was professional, courteous & friendly. I give two enthusiastic thumbs up to Kristen and JOAT!

Fantastic work and attention to details. We hired Kristen and Jill of All Trades to do some renovations with our outdated kitchen, have HVAC installed in semi finished basement, update master bath, and install shower in basement bathroom. It was honestly a pleasure to work with Kristen, her vision and expertise for the whole project along with the organization of all sub contractors was amazing; kept the whole project stress free. The contractors she brings in are literally the best I've ever dealt with. All of them were extremely friendly and knowledgeable knowing exactly what needs done and getting it done quickly and effectively. I've already handed out her information to 2 other people and have had multiple people ask for information about all of our remodel because they loved them! I would only recommend Jill of All Trades for any remodeling needs.

Kristen with Jill of All Trades did a recent remodel job in our home and was absolutely amazing!!! We had her replace our aging tile floors in our kitchen with hardwood floors which was a very difficult job considering the cabinets and 10 ft island were actually sitting on the tile floor. She found a way to get it done and make it look seamless. She also re-stained all the rest of the hardwood floors on our main level, stairs and rails so they all match and look brand new. To top it all off, we had her paint our cabinets and give us a new tile backsplash. Her entire crew and all of her subcontractors were always courteous and professional. I never once worried about them being in my home during the renovation. They were all true craftsman. Kristen has a keen eye for design and knew how to pull it all together and make our house look like a million dollar home. I highly recommend you give Kristen a call for your next remodel project.

Complete home renovation from roof to moving interior walls. All new hardwood floors, screened in porch, barn doors, upgraded trim package, beautiful cabinetry throughout! Moved plumbing and gas lines. Changed room sizes, created mud room and butlers pantry. Its a brand new home in a well established neighborhood.

Young couple, first time finishing a basement. Kristen was a perfect match. We had several quotes from other contactors and just didn't feel good about their plans. Kristen was very professional, thorough, and detailed in her work. She showed us pictures and we chose what we liked and didn't like, and she was able to envision exactly what we wanted. She hit it out of the park, couldn't be more happy with the results

I've used Kristen Pierce (Jill of all Trades GA) for several projects over the past couple of years (kitchen cabinets refaced and new backsplash installed; master bathroom remodeled; partial remodel of a powder room; replaced a couple of windows and an outside door). Kristen was wonderful to work with. She has great ideas and made some wonderful suggestions, not only for the tile for the master shower, but also for ways to reconfigure kitchen cabinets so I ended up with a very usable kitchen. She and her crew are very professional. She made sure I knew what to expect each step of the process. Her guys showed up on time and cleaned up before leaving at the end of each day; they were very respectful of me and my home while they were here. Kristen made sure that I was completely satisfied with the finished project before we called it done. I highly recommend Kristen and JOAT. She won't be the cheapest but will, by far, be the best! And, worth every penny!

We hired Kristen to do a complete remodel on our kitchen, master bath and to turn an empty space into a refrigerated wine cellar. She was very helpful with suggestions and decisions. Her teem was very respectful and excellent at their job! We are very happy with everything they did! Everyone that comes in to our home loves everything they did! Tons of complements! I would like to add ............that a few months after completion we had a leak in our roof. I called Kristen in a panic and she emmediately was able to give the the number for one of the roofers she uses that could respond quickly. He came out and took a look as was able to fix the problem before it did any more damage! We also had a problem with a sump pump around the same time and again she got someone out to us very quickly! She is deffinatly my "go to" person! Don't know what I would do without her!

We did a major kitchen remodel. Kristen was great to work with and was a great resource to bounce ideas off of to get the perfect combination of what we wanted with what was practical. Her team was professional and did everything necessary to make sure that it was done right. Any small issues were resolved immediately as well as correcting things that even we didn't notice. We have been getting nothing but complements since the project has been completed. Would strongly recommend as well as already have plans to work with in the future.

We hired JOAT to remodel our kitchen which included refacing the existing cabinets, granite countertops, tile black splash, paint & trim. Kristen was extremely helpful in assisting me in selecting the materials, suggesting colors and finishes to help me achieve the finished look I desired. Kristen is as picky as I am!Her staff of highly qualified & skilled contractors did an excellent job and always left the job site clean & orderly when the job was finished for the day. We hired JOAT to finish two rooms in our basement (1 bath & 1 bed), install drip edge on our roof, rebuild a staircase, replace siding on our house, install a door, and more. We had a very limited budget and Kristen worked with us to stay within our budget as close as possible while still dealing with many unexpected complications related to the age of our home and previous work that was not up to code. Kristen is easy to communicate with and takes care of everything. It was great to have one point of contact with questions, etc. instead of dealing with five different subs. Kristen was onsite frequently and easy to get in contact with. She is a breeze to work with, and we are very happy with the finished product!

Jill of our Trades has completed two remodeling projects for us- our master bathroom and our kitchen. And we are about to start a third project with her as well. She has high expectations from her contractors and they never are content until their work / product is the best it can be. We always were comfortable leaving the contractors in our home when we were not there, and when we were there, they were always polite, respectful and professional.

Kristen and her workers Leo and Marvin are excellent to work with. Her subs are also extremely good, especially her tile people as they are true craftsman. We researched and interviewed several contractors before selecting Jill of All Trades. The great thing about Kristen is she loves her job and wants to make sure you are totally satisfied, and with me that is no small task. She is anal and OCD and more picky than you will likely be assuring you will wind up with a deliverable that you will be happy with. What impressed me the most was her willingness to collaborate on some tough decisions and being open to suggestions. Some of her prices may seem a tad higher than her competition, but that is because she goes above and beyond to make sure she delivers top quality. She does not nickel and dime you and actually did far more than she should have in some areas to make sure we would be satisfied with everything. We total gut and remodel of kitchen, and 2 a 1/2 bathrooms as well as stair railing and painting. At least 2/3 of our home was renovated and you could not ask for a better finished product without paying a high end custom home builder to build things to your exact specifications. I have no regrets about using her and will use her for future projects and recommend you look no further and call her for your project!
