I've been working with Jill since 2014, three years now, and couldn't be happier with her guidance and expertise. We moved into a large new home and pretty much started from scratch on furnishings. Jill's first project was draperies and window coverings for all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. We met, looked at each room and discussed the vision. At our next meeting she had the most lovely fabric samples that reflected exactly what we had discussed. Our draperies are unbelievable! We have continued working with Jill on several additional projects in our home and have been very happy with them all. Jill is a wonderful listener, and therefore no time is wasted looking at ideas that don't fit with your personal style and plan. I've worked with other designers over the years and none compare to Jill! Our home is beautiful and homey because of Jill Herman!

My husband & I were referred to Jill by a friend of ours that had worked with Jill a few times in the past. We interviewed her & 1 other designer. We chose Jill because it felt like she would be easy to work with & we had a good rapport from our initial meeting. She had offered us some design ideas at the initial consultation that turned out to be great too. We broke up our remodel into 2 phases - the master bath in phase 2 & everything else in phase 1. We touched every surface in our house & the project took about 6 months for phase 1. There are a number of reasons why we enjoyed working with Jill & why we will be working with her again in about a week. 1) She looks at the practical aspects of the design as well as the design itself. That was REALLY important to me. 2) She was flexible in meeting with us as we both work during the day. 3) She came up with great design ideas & solutions. 4) My husband & I have opposite design styles as many couples do. She came up with great choices that worked for both us. 5) She tried to stay a step ahead of the contractor so that we wouldn't be holding him up. 6) She was professional, knowledgeable & met the deadlines & budget. I have high recommendation for Jill's designer skills. I worked on her last project doing the tile work. She was able to open up the space add his and her vanities a large shower area with a modern clean look. I would highly recommend her for you next project.

I first hired Jill Herman of J. Megan Interiors to help me decorate my bedroom, which was the most neglected room in the house. I was buying pieces and in most cases taking them back, I was very discouraged as I was spending a lot of money and time going nowhere, that’s when I realized that my attempts were neither pleasing nor cost effective, so I called Jill. I had never imagined I’d use an interior designer, mainly because I didn’t think I could afford one, but I learned that not only could I afford a designer, it saved me money. She transformed our bedroom into a bright, fun, welcoming room. I can’t walk into it and not smile, my husband and I love what she did and she stayed within our budget. When we started a large remodel of our master bath and guest bath, it took me several weeks working with contractors, who I assumed would have design ideas, only to be disappointed time and again. I called Jill and asked if she could design them, not only did she have a beautiful vision for our bathrooms, she hired the contractors, organized the time schedule and made sure the work was quality. Jill works very hard to ensure successful results. The project took several months and the end result is amazing, truly beautiful. Thank you Jill!

I worked with Jill, on a older home in Northpark, I really enjoyed working with her, she had some great ideas that made a huge impact on the project She was very prompt in returning phone calls and emails. All of her design work was turned around very quickly. She was able to both help the homeowner visualize the design ideas, then in turn help facilitate that with the various trades in the construction of the design work. I have and will continue to recommend Jill, she is very easy to work with, and very professional.

Jill has been a dream to co-create with. She has great taste & she's so knowledgeable. She has a strong vision but she's easy to work with and so fun- she doesn't take herself too seriously. I enjoyed every step of the design process and we have been so happy with the finished project!
