Chad was great to work with! His communitcation exceeded my expectations. He provided a custom pivot door for our front entry way and it turned out beautiful. The gentleman who installed the door went out of their way to provide us with the best customer service. The automatic lock we purchased did not fit and they went to Home Depot to find the correct size and said they wanted to make sure we were happy with their work. We would definitley use this company again. I highly recommend their work!

I hired Ironclad Doors to build & install a iron double door at my previous home. The door was beautiful and I believe that it was a selling point for my home. I built a garden home that has an iron door. Chad built a freestanding fireplace screen to match my front iron door. It is beautiful as well. Their products are very well built & reasonable. We can't speak highly enough of Chad and Robert! We replaced our front door, the huge transom window over it and two fireplace doors for our double sided fireplace. The detail in the drawings is exactly what we received and the door has completely transformed the front of our house! Our fireplace is exactly what we wanted and prevents our kids from being able to get into it. We are in love with the finished products. I'm OCD with house projects and both Chad and Robert inspected every detail to make sure it was perfect. I would recommend them over and over again!!

It's been a long time since I met anyone with such integrity. I contacted Chad about building a custom glass screen for my vintage fireplace to solve a problem with the flue. He made two trips to my house and submitted several drawings. He did considerable research, and concluded that he could teach me to work the existing mechanism so that a glass screen would not be needed. He oiled, cleaned and instructed, for no charge. I also asked about adding a metal screen door to my 1926 gothic arched entry door. Since it was an unusual request, he asked a colleague to inspect and make recommendations. Two trips later, they concluded that neither they nor I would be satisfied, but have recommended a master carpenter who is better qualified. Again, I was not charged for any of this. I would call no one else to build a metal/glass door, which is his real trade. He is a creative perfectionist who respects historical elements of architecture and knows his limitations. He can only be happy if both he and the customer are satisfied, even if it means turning down a job.

I have had Ironclad Doors do new fireplace doors as well as a new front entry door. Both are just beautiful and I love working with Chad, the owner as well as his installer. The work is beautiful and everything is handled in the most professional manner. Chad is fantastic with doing drawings and more drawings to help you make your decision and is great at communicating in a timely manner. Can't say enough good things about this company!

Had a great experience with Ironclad Doors. I had a lot of questions as i has having a custom front door made. The team at Ironclad were extremely professional, timely in their responses and answered all of my questions and emails (and I had a lot). The install was done very well. Since it was a custom door, it takes a while to manufacture but I even received an undated of what my door looked like during construction so I could see the progress that was being made. Pictures are of old door (with 2 side lights) and new iron modern door. Excellent work Ironclad!!
