We loved working with In Harmony on all aspects of our project! Everyone was friendly, reliable, talented, and responsive. We were amazed at how well our designer interpreted our needs and how successfully the crew installed her design. We feel more connected to our little piece of land because of In Harmony's work here. Our neighbors and people passing by are always commenting about how nice it looks and feels, and we spend more time outside than we ever did before. I even miss the crew now that they're no longer working here. They were all a pleasure to have around!

In Harmony completed an absolutely wonderful upgrade of our backyard this past fall. We could not have been more happy with the work of the entire team. Vince, our project manager, was fantastic and our daily on-site foreman, Brian, was equally excellent. Throughout the entire project, our questions and concerns were answered and addressed. I can't say anything but amazing things about In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes. Every individual on their team from the owner Mark, to the landscape designer Joanna D'Asaro, to the incredibly hardworking individuals remaking my backyard were fabulous! They were great listeners and very responsive to feedback. Their positive attitudes were also refreshing, including the construction/installation team who were very enthusiastic about their work. The company really seems to treat their employees well, which is very important to me. I highly recommend this company for any of your landscaping needs!

We hired In Harmony to do a complete makeover on our backyard. They worked with us to ensure all of our ideas were incorporated into the design, and offered many great ideas we hadn't thought of. In Harmony was very supportive of the many plan revisions we requested until they created the perfect one for us. I have worked with numerous contractors in the past, and very few finish on time and budget. This was not the case with In Harmony. Before the job began, I was presented with a line item budget and a timeline and they did not deviate from either. Workers showed up in time, worked the entire day, and cleaned up after themselves each night. Our expectations for our backyard were very high, and they exceeded them. I highly recommended In Harmony if you have any landscaping needs.

In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes created a beautiful and functional design for channeling roof water and water that ran down our driveway into a dry stream bed that winds through our front yard. This moderately-sized project required digging a channel through our yard and removing quite of bit of concrete in front of our carport in order for them to place channel drains. These drains connected to underground PVC sewer pipes (which they installed) that terminated at the rock-filled stream bed. Now, instead of having a flooded basement, all of the water from the driveway and roof flow into and beneath the stones in the stream bed. If there is a torrential downpour, the design allows any excess water to flow over the rocks, following the stream through the entire yard, and finally over the curb. This water eventually goes into a storm sewer at the end of our road. But, this has happen only once because the water has been absorbed by the soil in our yard. Mark Gile and one of his designers worked with us continually throughout the two-week project. One of his foremen, Poncho, was very skilled at operating all of the equipment needed for this project. He was also a wonderful problem-solver. Mark and his crew were very knowledgable, prompt, and finished the project within the deadline and at the cost agreed upon at the beginning. I would highly recommend In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes! A small glitch occurred because I kept using the term "rain garden" when I should have indicated I was visualizing a "dry stream bed." Understandably, Mark was suggesting good rain garden features while I was envisioning something a bit different. In the end, the design proved to be a very functional one, with a meandering stream bed that hosts many steam side grasses and plants whose roots, I'm sure, help cleanse the water diverted into it. People visiting our house overwhelmingly love our new stream bed and the foliage around and through it. Many wish that they had something similar in their front yard. I
