We were introduced to Les and Hunter & Tristan Design through our GC to design an extensive renovation for us in Chinook Park. Since the first meeting Les worked hard to understand our vision and to design a home that met and far exceeded our expectations in every way. Les was patient with us as we made updates through the process and was informative about the impact of those changes (not just on budget, but also engineering). Les also took care of all permitting and engineering, including picking up permit cheques at my office, taking a potential headache completely off our plates. I would highly recommend Hunter & Tristan Design to anyone in the Calgary area looking for a quality, responsible designer.

I hired Les to design a brand new infill home for my family and I. I gave him my ideas and what I wanted and he drew out my dream home!! I am overly satisfied with his creativity and his ability to visualize exactly what I wanted. He was always there when I had questions from the beginning and continue to do so even afterwards. Based upon my experience with Les Hunter i would highly recommend his firm. Les designed a unique addition to my home at Priddis Alberta and prepared the constuction drawings also. He was creative, timely, a pleasure to deal with and very fair in his pricing. You wont be disappointed if you use Hunter and Tristan.

I would highly recommend Hunter and Tristan Design to any potential homeowners who are considering a renovation or new build project. The Principal of this company has hand-on experience with building. As such, his designs are realistic with respect to budgets and building considerations. Hunter and Tristan Design was responsive to owner's suggestions and input, but still provided creative input. It was easy to visualize the final product with the design drawings provided. Hunter and Tristan Design was an integral component in our finished renovation project!!!

We hired Les to design our basement when we bought our house .. basement was semi finished with a couple of posts right in the center which we were not thrilled about as it limited the scope of what we wanted out of it. The cost of having them removed from other sources were outrageous .. Les not only provided us with great ideas and designs for the basement along with 3D renderings but also offered to have the posts removed at a very minimal cost. He has a comprehensive background in construction as well and it served us well. It all became a one stop shop. Job was done with in a few days and was more than satisfactory. We highly recommend Hunter & Tristan to anyone looking for home design and construction projects. Saeed family
