I will forever be thankful that I walked into the gorgeous Cielo store years ago. A simple question about a pillow led to the most enjoyable experience I have ever had with designers. Fred and Matthew collaborated with me for hours to select just the right fabrics and design for my bedding and antique chairs. They introduced me to Scalamandre and Manuel Canovas and fabricated the most beautiful custom pillows that to this day dress my bed. Most recently, they helped me select wallpaper for my home in Florida. They have impeccable taste and are so approachable and fun to work with. I highly recommend them and the entire Cielo team for interior design projects of any scale.

Matthew and Frederic were wonderful to work with on the bathroom and kitchen remodel; they were professional, creative, fun and smart about the needs of the project. They listened to my ideas (and also to my concerns) and were very collaborative in finding great solutions. The support they provided and the ability to coordinate the project made the process much easier. They were cheery and hard working and the end result was beautiful! I will continue to work with them on other projects! They are a fabulous team!

We hired Cielo Home to help us design a library connected to our living room that would enhance the light in both rooms and improve the circulation of the downstairs, but would also serve as a downstairs bedroom if needed. They helped us transform both rooms with hugely improved interior lighting, proportional window and door placements, wall color selection, and furniture placement. Everything feels light-handed and appropriate to the early twentieth-century house.

Deciding to work with Frederic, Matthew, and Esme, the design team at Cielo Home is a choice that I feel lucky that I made. The contractor they use, Ivan Redding, was also a valuable asset to the successful completion of the job. The attention to detail and thoroughness of their work guaranteed my satisfaction. The team at Cielo Home has helped us with our homes for many years, mainly for standard interior design services such as helping with furniture layout and selection, fabrics, lighting, garden suggestions, etc. They were particularly sensitive to my requests since I have an immense passion for pairing my contemporary art collection with a lifetime of special antique pieces from around the world. Having the utmost confidence in their capabilities I asked them to remodel my kitchen, master bathroom and breakfast room. We used their recommended contractor and they worked in wonderful harmony. The end result allowed my turn of the century American Colonial to still shine through a very clean and updated remodel. They were my advocates and listened to what I had to say not only in our private meetings but also when we met with contractors, workrooms and the like. They stand firm on elements that they feel are important to the ultimate design but I knew I had final say in the process. This was very refreshing and reduced the stress I have encountered with past professionals. I highly recommend them and their contractors. I hired Cielo Home Interior Design to design my new retail space. The concept was to design a European style boutique that blended a modern theme in an old world building. The outcome is fantastic. The attention to detail was impeccable. The space was limited and they were able to work through every obstacle that stood in our way. The architectural transformation is remarkable. They turned a 1970's building into an old world European structure with attention to ceilings, lighting and retail planning, flow of traffic and ease for my staff to work in. Customers feel transported when they enter the space. We have been nominated for Best Specialty Store in the Willamette Week. Matthew and Frederic listened well at thought of every detail that was needed to make an incredible space. Hiring them was an intricate part of my rebrand and I could not be prouder of what we accomplished. It was a comfort to know that when I got overwhelmed with the details that they could keep it going to the end. Matthew and Frederic with Cielo Home Interior Design are stylish, creative, talented, dynamic, and worth every single penny! I was extremely trepidatious about hiring designers for my first home - I was afraid it would be way too expensive and that my home would end up looking like someone else's idea of a catalog. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge. They took the time to really learn and understand my innate taste, and then they ran with it, creating the ideal "vampire chic" aesthetic (as we have since dubbed it) for my large common living spaces and for my master suite. As Matthew once put it, "we're all about "doing you"... but the sophisticated version of you!" I would also add that I was surprised at how overall reasonable this turned out to be financially. Of course, it's not cheap to hire designers, but the products and vendors they worked with are surprisingly affordable - I feel like I spent no more on furniture, upholstery, rugs, etc than if I had done it myself at higher end retailers (Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma, etc). The difference is that, with their touch and vision, my home looks special and unique (like an upscale vampire's den from the late 1800s!) rather than from the store down the street. Also, they have a great line on local service providers (electrician, painters, etc) - this was really helpful. My home now feels extravagant, luxurious, and so extremely comfortable and inviting. I recently had a baby and have been essentially homebound for 6 weeks, and I keep thinking how grateful I am to be cooped up in a place this comfy, aesthetically harmonious, and thoughtfully laid out. My final comment is that they helped with my baby's nursery, and every single visitor has said it looks like something out of a hip parent's magazine. Cielo Home Interior Design gets the highest possible ratings from me.

Frederic & Matthew are 1st rate start to finish! We have worked with them on multiple projects over many years. They are extremely talented with regards to utilization of space with remodeling and design results that are both functional and beautiful. They have extensive knowledge pertaining to antiques, modern furniture, & accessories. Because of their experience and sources they can fill their clients needs. We initially contacted Cielo Home Interior Design to help us with the design and construction of a combined book case/desk built-in for our den. We were so impressed with their originality, creativity, and excellence that we decided to use their services to basically redo the entire direction of our interior design. We have used their services to purchase furniture, to reupholster furniture, to design and construct a bespoke console, to install draperies and multiple wallpapers, etc. Their creativity, aesthetic, and attention to detail is excellent. We have worked with many different interior designers and architects during the past 30 years and we have never been as pleased with the outcome of a design project as we currently are; we absolutely love the work that Cielo Home Interior Design has done.
