Guettler Photo

My name is David Guettler and I'm a working photographer in Southern California. I got into photography for many obvious reasons like: I get to meet and work with artistic, talented and involved people, travel to interesting locations, produce creative work and a host of other aspects. Then there's the reasons that are not so obvious, that are difficult to explain, that I feel quite passionately about like: designing and discussing concepts with clients, the energy that surrounds a live set, the sense of pride that fills me when a client views their photographed project, the sound of the camera shutter releasing in sync with the 'Pop' of the strobe lights-it's musical, and a million-and-one-half other things as well. A wise person once told me: "Do what you love and you'll love what you do and you'll never work another day in your life." What could be wiser?
