Family Christian Doors

My experience was very poor with this company. If you are thinking of using this company, please read my review before doing so. Especially if you are a female. An installer came on August 2021 to install a new garage door opener which cost almost $600. with a three-year warranty. Nine months later the garage opener broke and extra springs were put in which again cost me $345. Both trained pro installers stated my door was extremely heavy and needed to add more springs and heavy duty opener. (This is a plain 16x7 Tin Garage door.) Less than a year later the garage door opener broke once again and damage was made to my garage door. The company would not accommodate me with my warranty nor a discounted price on replacing my garage door but wanted to charge almost $1600 for another garage door and at that time they would repair the part on the garage door opener that broke as well. After five days of trying to reach the managers/owners the only thing they could do for me was to discount $100 from the cost of the door. I feel the company should refund my money that was spent and/ or my monies spent for a new garage door. Very poor management and decision maker. I am writing this review to warn all females against this company.

Second time I have used this company. Work / repairs at a fair price. Technician Steven was courteous, helpful, and attentive. The first repair was ruined by an F-4 tornado. This second repair was after Home Again (Raul Arrambide) did low quality work replacing the tornado destroyed door (only worked for one year). Steven made repairs and upgraded hardware. Door runs quiet and smoothly. This repair will last until the next natural or man made disaster.

I don't write reviews often, but I do try and tell the world about the really good ones AND the really bad ones. These are of the really good kind. Chad and Patrick took care of my call for service on a battle-weary 15 years plus garage door that was pulling itself apart hinge by hinge. They called ahead and arrived when they said they would (big bonus points!). They pointed out all the important clues as to what was going on with my ancient aluminum door. We were quickly able to agree to a simple, but effective temporary fix to get my door properly functioning again at a cost effective price until Santa's elves could manufacture a new one for me for Christmas! Of course, Chad and Patrick will be Santa's helpers installing that new $700 16'x7' door. Thanks guys! Well done!

I hired Family Christian Doors to repair a broken garage door spring. The technician, Trevor was very knowledgeable, polite, and understanding. He went above and beyond to make this a great experience. Trevor completed the repair in less than 30 minutes and arrived right on time as promised. I would highly recommend Family Christian Doors and really appreciate their honesty and professionalism.

I called family christian on a Friday evening when my garage door suddenly stopped opening. They were able to get someone, Brandon, to my house by Saturday afternoon. My spring had broken and Brandon walked me through the different components of my garage door and opener and explained my options. He replaced all the bearings, rollers, and installed two new springs. The work was done well and quickly.

When I first scheduled an appointment, I braced myself for a pushy repairman who would try to sell me the highest priced garage opener, a new door, as well as anything else possible. What I experienced was the complete opposite. Brandon arrived at the beginning of the two-hour window, methodically inspected my old opener, and offered three differently priced solutions. He also inspected my old door and suggested only replacing the rollers and letting the other parts accumulate a little more wear. How refreshing not to be hounded into buying more than necessary. It was so nice having a technician who is thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. Thank you, Brandon! I will definitely recommend Family Christian Doors.
