Susie Ralls Designs

Once again Susie has exceeded our design needs and helped us through our remodeling efforts. She has a keen eye for design and a great sense of up to date fashion. We love working with her!

I initially utilized Susie Ralls Designs in planning for a major interior renovation. My home was approximately 18 years old at that time. Susie designed a floor plan to remove some of the walls in the main living area (media/living room, piano room, dining room, entry, kitchen and breakfast nook), thereby establishing an "open concept" floor plan. Prior to the remodel, my home was very compartmentalized. Seating was limited and the spacing was definitely not conducive to having a gathering of more than 5-6 people. Following the renovation, the main living are can now comfortably accommodate 22 persons. The transition to this updated floor plan not only promoted space versatility, but exuded a feeling of a much larger living area. Susie initially asked me what I wanted people to feel when they came in my home and I replied "Ahhhh". In order to achieve the feeling of calmness, I collaborated with her as to the appropriate colors, flooring, furniture, window treatments and misc. décor, thereby creating a beautiful and relaxing environment. My husband and I are overjoyed with the results and are proud to call this home.

Susie has been extremely helpful and easy to deal with. She started by spending time with me looking at what I have and assessing where I wanted to go with my "New Beginning" and to what extent I was able and willing to go. I liked the step by step approach and the fact that she came up with various options for me to choose from. Very pleasant arrangement. She is good!

Susie helped me turn my kitchen and family room into a fun, sleek, comfortable haven for my family and friends. She listened to what I wanted and helped to develop the perfect, unique modern beach style for me. I am so glad I found Susie!

Susie assisted me with completing a basic remodel of my home. Her eye for detail is amazing and she was able to beautifully add all the finishing touches that were needed.....from paint colors, rugs, and furniture to accessories, right down to the throw pillows! She truly is a professional and worked hard to make sure that I loved everything we chose.

We have been working with Susie since 2005, when she worked with us, our architect and our contractor to design, build and decorate our home. Susie made what was a daunting process almost simple. She worked closely with our architect and contractor, substantially managing much of the scheduling and communication process. We feel that by incorporating a number of suggestions Susie made at the design stage, we have really added to the charm and functionality of our home. My husband and I both find Susie very pleasant and easy to work with: she is professional and organized; she listens to and incorporates our thoughts and concerns; and is respectful of our budget. We have since gone on to work with Susie to redecorate a number of rooms in 2nd home and have been equally pleased with the results.

Susie Ralls did an excellent job transforming a blah wall of awkward cabinets in my kitchen into the beautiful centerpiece of the room. Her creative design, sense of space and style, skill of color selection, and ability to integrate this new cabinet wall with the rest of the kitchen and the tone of the house, was amazing. Susie is always pleasant to work with and was persistent in dealing with subs to get the project completed.
