Clay did a great job on eight shutters for the first floor of my house. The originals were rotting, but the second story shutters were still in good shape. Clay matched the originals very well. Plus, the materials quality and workmanship are top notch. I won't be replacing these ever. Highly recommended.

Recently I called Clay to have him quote 8 pairs of custom cedar shutters for my house. I sent him pictures of the original shutters so I would be sure to meet HOA requirements. By the end of the next day I received Clay’s proposal and was able to make a few minor adjustments, compared his final proposal to the others I had received and was able to schedule my project start. As we were working on the scheduling of my project the construction industry was in the middle of supply chain constraints for cedar material but Clay was able to source and paint the material required for my project. In addition to the shutter project I was also coordinating the painting of my house and a renovation of my front door. Clay was able to work within the confines of the other trades on the job, he was on time and completed the install as agreed. Clay was also able to reuse the original shutter hardware thereby saving me some money. When the work was completed and I was satisfied Clay cleaned up his part of the site. I would highly recommend Clay without reservation. In short I found Clay to be dependable, professional, honest, responsive, knowledgeable, easy to work with, a good communicator and he provides quality workmanship.

Our new shutters look great! Clay was highly responsive, knowledgeable and professional, and the quality of his work is top notch. He recommended the proper sizing for our windows and corrections for the improper mounting hinges on our old shutters. He was also very transparent and did not rush the job when the wood needed extra time to fully dry to ensure there was no compromise on quality. Clay truly enjoys and takes pride in his work and it shows. It took a bit from scheduling to installation but I believe it was well worth it. He was also honest about saving us some money avoiding new hardware which I appreciated. He is very laid back and easy to work with.
