Arcanum has a showroom in the retail area of my building, and the natural wood products and the honesty of simple design caught my eye - originally for 2 open boxes for putting stuff in and on. Having a space for a dining table (and not having one to fill it), I kept in touch and one came up that I purchased - and Sean from Arcanum helped me set it up. The workmanship of all 3 items is superb, the timber compliments a stark contrast to the modern interior of my flat (which is very nice but needed the warming tones). My friends and family have been highly complimentary of the table and boxes. Although I haven't bought chairs from Arcanum, the table adds so much character that I could get away with some cheap ones that must feel graced by this 4 seater table of solid timber. The quality of the product, Sean's professionalism and the look are highly recommended - especially when they can do bespoke products as well. Highly recommend these guys for home or commercial quality furniture.

With a background in interior design, I see Arcanum Home as a candy house to a kid. I spent more than an hour learning their products and speaking to the owner, Sean, who is also an architect by training. We exchanged ideas and spoke about current modern interior design that encompassed products from all over the world, especially from a different cultural background. He has curated some beautiful and unique products that you won’t often find in Australia. Their products evoked warm feelings and mostly handmade; I can see how his products will work well with some of my current projects. I would encourage all designers to visit their showroom at Bondi Junction, which also happens to be near a carpet/timber flooring showroom, not to mention a new King furniture showroom which will be opening soon. I couldn't help but buy myself an American Oak table lamp. What drew me to this specific lamp is its lightness and simplistic but modern design and construction. It really brings that 'homey' feel into a space. And of course, he gave me the best trade price.

Arcanum Home is one of its kind. We passed by the store and mesmerised with the unique products. They are exactly what we have been looking for, real timber and sculptural products. He is not just selling some beautiful products but communicated efficiently with us and recommended products that is suitable for our home. Many of the lighting products are made from a variety of wood, all the furniture are made from Acacia wood and also a good selection of furniture accessories. A tip from us, ask for the catalogues, there are still many products they have yet to display in the store. You will find Arcanum Home store a new concept, a combination of lighting products, furniture and original artworks creates homeliness and also provide a sense of scale. This help us to visualise how the furniture will fit into our space. The owner is passionate about his products and it was reflected in the level of services he was providing. What is great about Arcanum Home is the combination of services that it can offer! We spent a long time discussed on various options, suitability, interior colour scheme and overall spatial ambience for our home. I also found out that they provide joinery and kitchen design. As a result, we bought an exquisite oak pendant light, a solid Acacia wood dining table and a beautiful handmade Mango wood floor lamp. It has a dimming button that controls 3 level of brightness.
