DiMase Architects

This was a complete reworking of our open-plan kitchen/living area, with an entirely new kitchen and laundry. We had some pretty strong views about what I wanted out of our kitchen, so it was great to work with Antony and his team who were willing to listen to our ideas and then expand and improve them. We went through a few iterations of the design until we got it right, including having to compromise on some 'bigger' ideas where Antony quite rightly pointed out building impracticalities (and associated costs). The end result is something we just love: a highly practical, well-lit kitchen that we simply enjoy working in, and the rest of the space working much better than it did previously.

It was a pleasure having DiMase Architects work on a major upgrade to our terrace house in Fitzroy. Antony commenced our project with his customary quiet and confident demeanor, and his wealth of experience quickly became evident. Antony and Niea listened carefully to our requirements and guided us deftly through the process, providing excellent advice along the way. They were able to skilfully accommodate our ever-changing needs, and went about the business always with good humour and yet the utmost professionalism. The result of such passion and pride in his work resulted, in our case, in a clever architectural solution that struck the perfect balance between comfortable, contemporary living, and a nod to the Victorian heritage of our home. Di Mase Architects worked hard and skilfully to understand the problems and opportunities involved in our project. They provided appropriate advice about the priorities and several creative options for us to consider. Their documentation was detailed but very clear and easy to navigate.
