Informing, educating and bringing awareness about the differences between traditional acrylic/latex based paints and mineral-based paints is what I, Christopher Balke founder and owner of All City Brick Staining LLC have been doing for the past 4 years. With over a decade in the Masonry Staining Industry, I have never truly believed in the product; until I started using mineral based paints and stains. They are the only products meant to be used on masonry. Color Matching has been my specialty for over a decade that I have been able to pass on to the gifted color techs that work with us now. We are also the only company that offers Full Exterior Transformations. We have such a large list of contractors that we work with and for, that we are able to recommend any trade that you may require. We are truly a ONE-STOP SHOP. All-City stained the brick in a 7 unit that we purchased. we purchased it as an "eye-sore" and had to do major renovations. staining the brick made the entire building look new. id definitely recommend them in the future.

Chris is a true artist. Our Chicago common brick cannot be painted as it will cause the brick to erode. Staining was the only option and Chris elevated my dark brown, green and pink brick to a clean and modern palette of tranquil greys. Chris is creative, a great collaborator and always mindful of the bottom line. I am thrilled with my 'new' house. Thank you, Chris!

Chris' work is simply incredible! He is a true artisan. We were completely remodeling the front-half of our house which was clad in 50-plus year old red-turned-pink brick on three sides - the back and sides. Long story short, we clad the front of the house in new, brown brick which had hints of beige pebbles. Chris and his team stained the old brick exactly -- emphasis on exactly -- matching the new brick right down to the effect that the beige pebbles had in lightening the basic brown of the brick. Three years later, the new and old brick remain practically indistinguishable -- no fading or eroding of the stain has taken place.

ACMS stained my 1950s brick house. The house started out a faded pinky brick that looked pale and dated. The staining process which soaks into the brick makes so much more sense then painting the brick which will seal in moisture. The house sprung to life under ACMS' awesome touch staining it in shades of gray. The roof was painted and water proofed it. (who knew you could paint a roof). The roof was a red asphalt shingle and now is a lighter shade of gray which is amazing. People have asked if I tore down the old house because what was done gave the house such an incredible makeover. I would not recommend waiting until the fall to do a project like this as the weather was not our friend. . However I totally would recommend ACMS for the staining and the artisitic approach he brings.
