We hired Urbanscapes LLC (Steve Acquard). He started out great, we paid him a generous deposit, got a preliminary drawing and then he disappeared. After repeated attempts to contact him by both our builder and us, he has been completely unresponsive.

Steve at Urbanscapes is a true professional! My yard looks spectacular. The new plants and flowers look amazing. I've lived in my home for 23 yrs and have never had such a beautiful yard. Thank you so much Steve!

Urbanscapes did a fantastic job on a yard that needed a complete overhaul. We recently renovated our home, filled in a pool and added a garage & new driveway. This required us to redo every aspect of our yard. As we had no plan in place we looked to Steve and his team to create a yard that was easy to maintain, but still fit the style of our neighborhood. He not only accomplished that, but also did a great job of educating us along the way. The full scope of the project included new flower beds, trees, grass, drainage, pavers, irrigation and lighting. All of this met our timelines and requests. Steve was also very hands on and dealt with any questions or roadblocks in an efficient and effective manner. Even after the project has finished, I am still in contact with him in regards to any care questions I have. Overall, my family and I couldn't be happier with Steve and his team and am glad we chose them to put the finishing touches on our home.

I have been incredibly impressed by Urbanscapes throughout this process. Our project was a complete landscaping job for new construction on an approximately 12,000 square foot lot in an urban Houston neighborhood. The project involved landscaping and extensive hardscape. It also involved coordinating with our landscape architect and architect (both of whom are also great, but who have strong opinions about quality and the way things should be done.) First, Urbanscapes was competitively priced with similar quality outfits. Second, the work was done well, and on time. Third, the follow through has been outstanding. FOr example, Steven, the owner, drives by our house at night just to make sure our lighting is on. Fourth, Steven is excellent about coordinating and communicating with the client and with the client's other professionals. Fifth, he provides a value-add on design. Even though we had a landscape architect, Steven provided helpful suggestions with plant selection and hardscape that we eventually incorporated. Last, and perhaps most important, we get a TON of compliments on our landscaping

Beautiful, Low Maintenance and Pet Friendly! Steve, Urbanscapes and his Team are the best. Knowing that I have a very active lifestyle that required a low maintenance but also pet friendly yard - he put together the best possible landscape design possible and implemented it with absolute precision. Designed in a very simple and elegant manor - it includes artificial turf, Italian Cypress, Azaleas, Liriope, Ligularia, Foxtail Ferns, Dianella, Butterfly Iris, and Agapanthus - the yard is amazing. And even more amazing is the drip irrigation system he put in - as well as path and spot lighting. My yard is now a beautiful outdoor wonderland. And my two Labardoodles Harry and Abraham love it! I am a landscape designer and Urbanscapes recently installed one of my garden designs for a client. They did an excellent job reading my drawings and making reasonable decisions in the field. Mass plantings were in perfect rows. The space looked great. Bottom line, my client was very happy.

Urbanscapes implemented a very detailed landscape design for our modern home. Steve, the owner, attention to detail was evident from the initial bid through completion. As importantly, his staff is not contracted. The employees are just as committed to making things right. In fact, when there was a problem with the grading of our drive, Steve, per the suggestion of his staff, redid the entire job at what was probably considerable cost to him. Our landscaping get lots of praise from the neighbors and I would not hesitate to hire Urbanscapes again.

From conceptual design, through HOA approval, project execution to completion, Urbanscapes was efficient, easy to work with and professional. We initially contacted the owner of Urbanscapes, Steve, after concluding our property needed a major renovation. Steve listened to our thoughts on; design, resolving current issues, upgrading our look and our longer term expectations. He took our input, brought his expertise and developed a plan that exceeded our original expectations. From here, Urbanscapes executed the job to perfection and as envisioned. Materials were of the highest quality, the job-site was clean and organized, deadlines were met as agreed and the job was completed with the least amount of disruption. Changes and adjustments were made along the way smoothly and efficiently. No short-cuts and the end result is spectacular. We would highly recommend Urbanscapes for hard or soft scape needs.

Steve, Rodolfo and team did a great job with our yard. We were starting with essentially a blank slate as we had torn out the old owners' landscaping and only had general ideas about the new design. We interviewed several landscape firms and found that most didn't want to spend time on us...but Steve jumped into action right away. He worked with us on multiple iterations of the design (usually with only a couple days turnaround) and ultimately sat with us for 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon to finalize the plan. That was all for only a small design fee and no commitment by us to do the installation work. Based on his hard work and dedication, we did indeed use Urbanscapes for the installation as well. Steve again delivered well in advance of the timeline that other landscape firms offered (weeks vs. months). The plant selection and quality of work were very good. Rodolfo in particular navigated some tricky plumbing when we encountered old pipes in the ground. We regularly get compliments on our yard from passersby. Steve also maintained his commitment to plant hollies several months after our project was completed. Overall an honest, reputable group that does quality work.

When we first spoke to Steve we gave him a just a few ideas and a few pictures. From there he came up with a beautiful design that were wowed by. From there we went through 3 or 4 tweaks before landing on the perfect one for us. He was always quick to respond and truly cares about his work. Plus, his crew was awesome! Bottom line, Steve and his crew made it easy for us and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He is both an artist and businessman which is so hard to find. I give him my highest recommendation.
