What a wonderful experience. John was the constant perfectionist and professional. He was able to listen to what we were looking for and make suggestions. The end product was a phenomenal sauna that was made from an unused walk-in closet. It is truly a work of art and the quality is beautiful. He also custom made wine shelving for our wine cellar. They look perfect and even though our walls were not square, he was able to make it work. We cannot recommend John and Warm Timber Saunas enough. Work done in a timely fashion and done to perfection.

Working with John/Warm Timber Saunas was a very positive experience. John is a real professional dedicated to his craft, but also dedicated to satisfying the buyer's wishes; when possible. I originally had a site for the outdoor sauna in mind and John saw no reason why this site couldn't be utilized. Upon a later visit, John noticed that the dimensions of the sauna would not be able to fit into the original location. John offered several suggestions on other possible locations and even offered to return our deposit if we didn't like any of the alternative sites. In doing this, John showed that the satisfaction of the customer is his priority (as opposed to just making a sale). We eventually settled on one of the alternative locations and John had the sauna up and operating on time. Warm Timber Saunas worked efficiently in putting the sauna together and made sure everything was cleaned up upon finishing the project. John took all the time we needed in explaining the operation of the sauna and patiently answered all of our questions. After a little over one month of use, I couldn't be happier with the sauna and it's construction. I highly recommend John/Warm Timber Saunas for their professionalism.

John was exceptional on all fronts - a rare tradesman who is honest, competent and communicative. John came to our renovated home and worked with a poorly framed space to fit a sauna kit we had ordered from somewhere else. He identified the problems, discussed options and came up multiple custom solutions to the problems created by others. We have a beautiful custom sauna and could not be happier. If there were a 6 Star rating, John would get it!

John is a thoughtful and creative craftsman. His work is impeccable and his communication is outstanding. I first met John on a recommendation to build a wine cellar in a new construction home. As it turns out, we were also considering a sauna and, though the wine cellar did not happen, we were very fortunate to have met John for the sauna. We were considering pre-fabricated models that were comparable in price to the completely custom job that John was able to deliver. Information and education about saunas is hard to come by, and John also took the time to educate us on saunas, in general, and options specific to our questions and requirements. The sauna fits perfectly in our space and it is a joy to have in our home. John's level of personal service and quality of craftsmanship cannot be beat. I most highly recommend John and Warm Timber.

We are extremely pleased with the sauna that John with Warm Timber Saunas built for us. From our first meeting through completion, John was extremely thorough, detailed, and responsive. When we first met, John laid out how he viewed our sauna coming together. He was extremely helpful in asking us specific questions and incorporating all of the features we were hoping to incorporate into our space. Our sauna was retrofitted into our current home and John's final design makes it look like it was part of the original construction. He took the time to make sure we were kept up to date during the entire process. My husband and I are both in construction and were very impressed with the quality craftsmanship that went into our sauna. John was also very careful to protect the existing finishes in the basement from any potential damage or dirt. Overall the entire project went extremely smoothly with very little disturbance to our lives. We would highly recommend anyone to hire Warm Timber Saunas. You will not be disappointed.

John at Warm Timber Saunas helped us transform an oddly shaped trapezoidal closet in our bedroom suite into a beautifully crafted sauna that we enjoy every day. We think the results speak for themselves. Working with John has been a dream. He listened to our design goals and concerns, and made us feel assured from start to finish. Our project took about 2 months from the initial call to final completion. Planning and design took about 2-3 in-home visits and several phone calls to get all details ironed out and a detailed quote. Once we committed to the quote, there were a few weeks of lead time between ordering and receiving the parts and materials. Finally, the actual construction took just under 2 weeks. What I personally appreciate most about working with John was his incredible attention to detail and reliability. From the precision in the carpentry work to delightful details in the wall paneling, it's clear that John takes pride in creating a quality product. He showed up on time, every time, and kept us in the loop. When John worked inside the house, he respected our space by keeping it clean and tidy, and did not start work too early in the morning so as not to disturb our neighbors (we live in an old townhouse). If you're looking to design and build a custom sauna, I would highly recommend John at Warm Timber Saunas.

Same day service. When does that happen anymore...never! John promptly responded to my service call for my dry sauna wihin hours. He was friendly, professional, and competent. In addition, John did not try to upsale me a new sauna I didn't need. I appreciate he did not capitalize on the opportunity to replace my very old unit and instead, he made the repair and encouraged me to wait until my unit was beyond repair. Warm Timber will be the first and only company I call when my sauna can no longer be revived!!

We could not be happier with our new sauna. It is absolutely beautiful. John is very easy to communicate with and kept us up to date on all steps of the project. He kept everything protected and cleaned up afterward. He was very flexible on working with our schedule. We highly recommend Warm Timber Saunas!!

First time sauna owner and I'm not sure how I was able to wait this long! I was on the fence and uncertain I'd move forward with a home sauna when I first connected with John from Warm Timber Saunas & Wine Cellars. John didn't try to sell me - he shared with me the pros and cons to being a sauna owner. He was clearly knowledgeable, trustworthy and patient with me while I considered moving forward with the investment. I received an initial estimate to complete the build which I later learned was spot-on to the final cost once the work was completed. John went above and beyond - tremendous service, personal and kind, and on time, on budget! Being a first time sauna owner, John even provided me with a tutorial to ensure my comfort in using the sauna once his work was completed. And now that I have it, I don't know I lived without it!
