Eggleston|Farkas Architects is a small collaborative practice specializing in modern architectural design. Our award-winning residential & commercial projects - both new and remodeled - have been called "sleek, aesthetic, and highly livable - contemporary designs that remain sensitive to the Northwest." We strive for each of our projects to respond to the owners' needs, the special character of the site & climate, as well as the everyday realities of building codes, construction practices, and costs. This personal attention to aspiration & budget, concept & detail, imagination & reality, allows us to create work that is "rigorously legible, a modest and elegant expression in an exciting but calm and disciplined voice."

We have worked with Allan and John on several projects over the past 14 years and it has always been a joy. Yes, they are absolutely creative and capable, but what I appreciate most is they are both really good guys and they draw good people around them. Their homes are always stellar looking, well thought out and surprisingly fun. I totally respect them and feel respected by them, which is just the type of folks I like to spend my time and effort with.

This is a wonderful architectural practise, creating exciting original contemporary design. I have had the great pleasure of painting a number of wall mural treatments in several beautiful homes designed by this firm.

After many years of admiring modern home designs by Eggleston Farkas Architects, we hired them to design our custom modern home on a large sloping lot in Seattle, WA. I would recommend John Eggleston and Allan Farkas and their associate Jon Kwon without hesitation. These gifted architects created an extraordinary, award winning home for us. The entire experience was overwhelmingly positive. Their approach is very thoughtful, imaginative and collaborative and they are fun, personable people who thoroughly enjoy their work.

Hensel Design Studios

I have collaborated with EFA on many projects over many years now and chose to hire them for the design of my own home. They are very talented, professional and a pleasure to work with. Together we have won many awards and have enjoyed much media coverage but most importantly our clients have been more than pleased with the results as well as the process that got us there.

Cascade Coil Drapery

We were very pleased to have been asked to be a part of the Meadow Creek House designed by Eggleston Farkas Architects. They chose our woven wire mesh as an exterior shade that still preserved the beautiful view. As you can see from their portfolio their design sensibility and unique vision create livable modern design that shows Northwest Contemporary in its finest form. We look forward to working on future projects with Eggleston Farkas Architects!

Ha commentato: Can the Stainless Steel curtain be draped to the side and released?The curtain is installed on a recessed track, so it can be pulled to the side. This was a custom design & installation. The curtain material was made by Cascade Coil.
