Kitchen
Maybe 2 of these over island?
I like the features of this faucet. A bit expensive!
roll out shelves
robin egg blue cabinets
Combination of white, brown and gray woodwork.
wood and white cabinets
Similar configuration to our kitchen. Helps to visualize an island in this space. Note lighting fixtures :)
Not sure if I want a table attached to the island or just put a separate small table there for lower seating.
hmmm. Lower eating area?
lower eating area attached to island
Maybe have a table height eating area for small children
Tile up to wooden window ledge. Not wrapped up to sill
coffee bar and serving counter idea
It looks to me that lights are recessed in the shelf over the sink. Also looking at the area around the island in the workspace.
Pantry
Hmm... bay window sitting area
Note the shelf under the window with a chair. Could the coffee bar area to the left of my sink also be used as a spot to sit with a chair with a laptop, etc.? A place where smaller kids could have a snack?
This appeals to me too. Cabinets framing the window. Slanted cabinet in corner, although the counter under that corner is pretty dark. Not the black counters.
Put the cook top someplace else in the kitchen?
Faucet. Cutting board
I'll take this view :)
Some ideas
I know the cottage-y Green Gables style isn't popular but I do like it. Don't think I have the nerve to choose this. Note the coffee hutch and the fireplace structure.
Interesting idea to have glass on the side of the cabinet which is adjacent to the kitchen window. Would add light.
Just the idea of a type of hutch over the kitchen sink
seating area around curved outside edge (away from work area)
divided farm sink...would it accommodate a big pan?
In trying to find a design for a corner, I usually see sinks or ranges in them. How about just an open counter space there to the left of my cook top? See the angle of the cabinet under the sink? Imagine the sink as simply a counter with some good lighting.
Simple, peaceful, clean. Like handles, deep drawers. Need to keep in mind the need for dishwashing and drying space next to sink. This does not have enough to the right.
idea; Wood look island resembling a country kitchen work table. Again, wood as an accent. I do feel the sides of the island need to be able to be cleaned because of little messy fingers so maybe total wood grain is not practical. Back to the butcher block top idea...
The idea of a stained wood structure in the midst of colored cabinets. Beveled end of cabinet to the left. Love these windows for over the sink idea. Wishful thinking...
butcher block?
roman shades. Little light fixture out of wall over sink.
I like this floor
subway tile, light grey cabinets, cabinets resting on counter, contrast of cabinet colors. Small light over sink.
beige rug with gray walls. Den
