Make material choices
Installing outdoor curtains can be expensive if you opt for custom-made heavy-duty fabrics, such as Sunbrella, that resist fading, mildew and moisture. But if your climate means you spend much of the year outdoors, they are a great investment. Many of these examples aren’t intended for long-term use, but to enliven your outdoor living for a season or two, or to add glamour to special occasions. Whatever fabrics you choose, it is wise to remove the curtains and store them during long periods when the outdoor space isn’t used. Ensure fabric is clean and completely dry before storing.
