Zenobia kitchen
This was a kitchen I did for some friends of mine. It was a great use of premium wood over less expensive cabinet boxes. We built the doors, drawer fronts and face frames out of sapele, and inset maple finger pulls to really set it off! Each door is an individual and unique book match, I resawed all the lumber and created the panels myself. Each adjacent stile on the doors were cut from one board, so when the cabinets are closed the grain continues flawlessly from on door frame to the next. We slightly stained the sapele, so I had to hand brush the stain around each maple inlay to retain its' vibrant contrast. The photos were taken before the back splash was installed. The countertops are white concrete. It is a remarkable space!
