Transitional Kitchen Remodel Done in a Two-Tone Color
This homeowner wanted to totally remodel her kitchen that had never been changed since it was originally built. We started by removing all the existing cabinets and installing all new cabinets. She went with a white shaker door for all the cabinets, while the island was done in a pepper gray color. We also replaced the traditional pantry doors with new tall cabinets that matched the rest of the new cabinets. We next installed a glossy dark gray tile backsplash that is offset by the white of the cabinetry. Above the backsplash we put power strip outlets hidden under the tall cabinets. To complete the new look, we installed a white base quartz with gray veins. Now this is a kitchen that she is proud to show off to family and friends.
